Well, Travis, a person's political leaning says a lot about that person and what they value. Not that it would be impossible to enjoy a conversation with him. But you know, probably Leggo My Ego leans on the left and maybe they find it more difficult to only see his good sides and disregard that he would be someone working against what Leggo My Ego believes, since Tom has endorsed Republicans and supports the NRA and stole water during the drought. Which doesn't mean they shouldn't be treated respectfully as another human being.

divinuminfernum Blue Bloods sometimes handles these issues and yes the show is told from the viewpoint of police officers and department but I wouldn't call it propaganda. Main characters sure are overly righteous, one-sided ones but which mainstream cop show's characters aren't? The episodes featuring the African American reverend backed by neighbourhood protesters are a bit tedious. I too always expect those episodes to be apologetic to the cops and damning to the activists but IMO this has seldom been the case. Those episodes are just boring and repetitive. I'd rather leave those topics to the news and current affairs programmes.

I saw Tom Selleck in the audience at a theatre once - it's amazing he could fit in a standard stalls seat. After the show I glanced over my shoulder and he was moving through the foyer like an ocean liner in those photos you see of them surrounded by smaller craft. :-)

I think Meghan Markle wants the lead role in the new Magnum PI sequel in the works at ABC Network which will focus on Magnum's crime solving daughter Lilly who returns to Hawaii to run her father's private investigation firm. I think that's why:- 1) She had herself photographed several times in the type of trouser suits Magnum's lawyer friend Carol used to wear on the 80's show.(See Carol's outfit in Magnum PI episode 19 season 4 titled “On Face Value” minutes 1:26 - 4:15) then compare with pictures of Meghan found on this link www.elle.com/fashion/celebrity-style/news/g29118/meghan-markle-style/?slide=3 Pic 2 (July 14th 2016 Leaving the “Today Show” taping NBC Rockefeller NY) Pic 12 (March 18th 2016 at the “Today Show” in New York) 2) She is often photographed in a baseball cap which Magnum always used to wear.(remember the picture of her shopping near Kensington palace?) 3) She let the world know she'd been invited but had to miss the wedding of her suits costar who just happens to be marrying the daughter of Magnum PI creator Donald Bellesario, Troian Bellesario. I must say though, she does bear a striking resemblance to Marta Dubois, the actress that played Magnum's wife “Michelle” in episode 5 season 2 titled “Memories are Forever” see the first glimpse of her at minute 3:17 - 3:24. So she could be credible as Magnum's grown up daughter. 4) Her relationship with Prince Harry may be genuine but it may also be the “Higgins/Sandhurst element she hopes may boost her chances of getting the role. Strangely, Harry's voice does sound a lot like the young actor who played Higgins' grandfather Albert Stanley Higgins in episode 19 season 6 titled “Who is Don Luis Higgins?” see minute 2:51 - 3:03. Or maybe Harry wants a role ! Maybe my instincts are wrong, we'll see!!!
