Please Tom, please get Paul Chek on your show. I have so much more respect for these guys for even bringing him up. If he agrees obviously, you will not regret it. Btw Paul, what do you say to bring yourself into a parasympathetic state before you eat? and how long do you recommend to wait to eat after post workout when experiencing gut issues? Currently trying to help my dad Thanks Paul, love your teachings 🙏

One day at a time, one healthy choice at a time. I love being alive! I feel healthier than ever in my 40's, after decades of self loathing, I am finally learning to love my body. It's a life-long practice.

I found you Tom by following these guys for over a year now! They interview the most amazing inspiring people which though themI I found you, and you interviewed Jay Shetty! The interview with Jay and his monk experience and beliefs of leaving an impact should be heard in every highschool across America. THe universe led me to you and I am grateful and blessed to have found ALL of you, this unexpected network to a new life of motivation, knowledge and truth ❤️.....Tom you are my go to guy every morning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I started talking to my body while recovering from some broken ribs/dealing with debilitating health issues...I LOVE the idea of talking to my food before eating it. I am not religious either, to me, spirituality/energetic awareness makes good scientific sense. Mental state is so important to everything. I am working on a course called Overcoming Limiting Beliefs, based on my own experiences in coming to love living my life, living a life I love.

Gabrielle Angel Lilly Also...if you stop to be more mindful before a meal you are much more likely to eat foods that are “better” for you.

This was a great show especially the spiritual aspect. As a Muslim, we are encouraged to fast from sunrise to sunset (no food or water) for a whole month. But not just that, we are mindful of what we say, how we think during that month. We also are encouraged to fast twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays). If we made fasting an actual practice, I think we would be in a better state - mind, body and soul. The bit about saying a prayer before eating is mind blowing!

One of my favourite episodes by far. Too much truth which society needs to hear. I feel like nowadays people are afraid to go against the 'norm' of truth. Props to Mind Pump 👏🏼

I am not religious and was never raised in a religious atmosphere and I could never understand praying/prayer before eating food. Wow! Now it makes sense, why it has been being done for thousands of years and is present in all major religions BECAUSE just a THOUGHT can change the state of your gut and how your gut digests your food. Eating in a stressful state is bad and the science proves that. - Great Information - As Always Thank You Tom and Mind Pump.

This was so amazing. Cool guys, great interview as always, Tom. A few things I have learned and wrote down: 1. If you see what effect a food has on your mood/body, then it will change the way you think. You wanna feel good? Change it.. Fruit doesn't taste sweet, because the processed foodis different sugars. 2. Resistence training tells your body to burn more calories on its own WHICH IS FASTER METABOLISM. (Instead of cardio, which is doing it manually/handmatig). More muscle also burns more calories. 3. Eliminate processed food. Long shelve life, coming in a box, keep stored for a long time. - You'll eat less, make better food choices and you will find natural foods to taste good. Will take 2 weeks of withdrawal. 4 and more: Move more throughout the day! This way you won't really need cardio. Breathing practise. *Actively seek out disconforming evidence that does not match your current way of thinking.*

love this!! ive come to the conclusion to listen to your own body, eat only when you feel hungry, most of us eat for the sake of eating...im lucky to consume 5 meals a day at the most, most importantly im not clock watching to see when my next meal is, im less stressed in every day activities now and I actually enjoy working out instead of making it a chore...great watch this guys

YES! YES! YES! I am in agreement with about 98.7% of what these guys are saying. Through my years of trying different exercises and ways of eating; using food and supplements to heal ailments, these guys are spot on. Yes, weight lifting is going to have a better effect on weight loss than doing cardio. Cardio strengthens your cardiovascular system (your veins and arteries are made of muscle tissue throughout your body), but as a method of burning fat to lose weight, it is not as good as weight training. I realized that years ago. It is so good to hear so many things that I have learned on my own.

Health Theory is definitely my favorite content from you! (Probably because health and wellness is my passion) followed closely by your AMAs! I’m only 23 but everything these guys have said is stuff I’ve found out for myself through experience and like he said it’s a COMPLETE paradigm shift from how I used to look at food and my body! Not sure if you already have people planned out for all of the episodes but I would LOVE to see you interview Dr. Mercola, Dr. Axe, Dr. Bergman, Thomas Delauer, Jeff Cavalier or Dr. Mike V. (You already got max lugavere which I totally fanboyed over) Keep up the great content!

OMG! I love you guys. What you’re saying actually makes sense. I get so tired of trainers telling me to “run.” Seriously? I’ve had double knee replacement at 45 yo. I’ve done triathlons, climbed 14k peaks, ridden my bike hundreds of miles at a time. I can’t do high impact training anymore. I haven’t found a trainer who believes like you guys. I LOVE weight training. I’m seen as a freak at my gym. I could care less if I gain muscle. Yes I need to lose weight, but how do I find someone like all of you I the Dallas/Fort Worth area? Ty very much. I can’t believe it took me so long to find your channel as well as the great guests you have!!!!!!!

"Lights go down when the sun goes down". This has bothered me for some time since I live in Finland. It's easy to follow during the summer, but winters are long and dark as hell and I can't wake up at 11AM and go to bed at 4PM. What sort of suggestions do you have for the winter time if you're living in the North?

I haven't drank anything with my meals for at least 5 years. The only exception is when I eat out, and I think its because its literally just there. I'm also eating much more unhealthy when I eat out (most of the time), and unhealthy food definitely makes me more thirsty. People think we are weird for not bringing our beerage of choice to the dinner table. I heard on a podcast once about water during a meal watering down acids, slowing down the digestion process and causing potential issues in the gut. Ever since then, we took it out of our habits.

Total respect for the guy on the right. Not so much the guy in the middle. There are many studies out there that talk about connection between too much protein in western diet especially animal protein and many types of cancer. Overall they are are trying so hard to not bring any eastern practices/culture into their explanations but most people know that not drinking anything with food is one of the most important concepts of Ayurveda from India.

If I want to find trainers who look at holistic health in this way, including exercise, eating and these other pieces around psychological mindset, in Vancouver, BC, what kind of search would I do? My parter wants to change his body and health and he isattached to the way he once was and pushing himself hard and then is not sustaining the kind of training he starts but is attached to his way of approaching this, cause it's what he knows. If someone he respects can show him another way he is very open, as well.
