How to Delete Your Unused Facebook Pixels

@@sheethalkishoreveer2612 Technically, you cant actually delete a pixel per se, but you can delete all of your connections to it, hence the system will "hide" said pixel from your list of active or "connected pixels" Hope that helps...

In Business Manager go to: Data Sources > Pixels > Select the pixel to be renamed In the upper right corner of the browser click "Open in Events Manager" Click the pencil icon next to the pixel name and rename.

Hi Tom, I use Pixel for the Band Website, a Landing Page, our Eventspage on BandsInTown and our Ticketsystem (Eventjet). Would you recommend to use the same Pixel for different these different pages?

I would keep using the same pixel for everything. You can split out retargeting by URL and other factors if needed.

HI Tom ! Great video - I have a problem with my pixels ; they don't appear in the PIXELS section of the EVENTS MANAGER of the BUSINESS SETTINGS , so I'm unable to manage this. Would you have any tips for me about this ?

This is a weird glitch that happens depending on where you're coming from. My guess is you're going to your Events Manager from your Ads Manager, which is why you're not seeing them-they're not connected to the ad account. Try going to your Business Settings -> Pixels, and then go to Events Manager from there. This will take you to your pixels at the business level rather than the ad account level, and you should see them then. Super weird, I know.

2 pixels that i want to delete have no delete options, but the only thing thats bothering me that i want to remove is it shows the little green circle which makes it active. how do i make these 2 pixels inactive?

They will ultimately show as inactive when they haven't received any activity over the past 28 days or so. You can just pull them from use.

One pattern that I noticed throughout the comments is people talking about how hard it is To figure it out. I even seen one person saying it took them a month. And to be honest with you I think is done on purpose. I just tried Removing the pixel. It seemed like it worked but when I went back to check as it was completely Stop It's still saying it's active. I don't know who to blame bad planning or don't developers

@Tom DuPree III Yeah man it's pretty bad It's very spread out and it seems like it doesn't have a lot of shortcuts. For something so complex shortcuts should be Essential. It keeps things balanced special when it comes to searching for certain things.

Yeah, I would only use one pixel per artist / business. You can tailor how you use it to retarget, etc. inside of Facebook. No need to have more than one though.

Ive been trying to delete a website thats been added to my pixel. I acciently added the test version of my website to my facebook pixel but i cant see to delete this. its running tests and every time i go onto my website to make some changes it logs it in on facebook ad as traffic.
