It was a inspirational workshop. My wife and I were sitting in the front row, to Tommy's right side. These are great videos and they mean so much to me because I was there. And now all have to do is try to figure some of his stuff. Mind you, I've been playing the guitar professionally for over 35 years.

I just picked up the sheet music for his version. What a beautiful arrangement. It has a timeless quality to it and I feel fortunate to have the chance to learn and share it.

What a great humanitarian, I never get bored of watching him live and preach about how passionate and respectful he is to his craft, as a musician to hes become an inspiration, top guy.

Many thanks for posting these workshop clips. Very very useful! I had the privilege of meeting TE briefly a couple of days ago, but these clips get down to the nitty gritty!

Thanks for posting these. I've seen Tommy twice now, in concert, but haven't yet made it to a master class, mainly because his closest one has been 6 hours south, for the past 3 years.

The guy's never played a duff note.....he just can't do wrong. As soon as I strap mine on there's disaster. The strap is out of tune...my face isn't on straight...the dog has worms. I used to be Jung and easily Freudened, I know the score. Tommy is a star, a maestro and a top bloke with more patience than the NHS.

GREAT STUFF. Thanks for posting. Nice camerawork. I see his amp turned back to the wall. Was he playing through a PA of some sort at this point as well? Thanks again!!!!!!!!!

I"m so surprised he uses those horrid Kyser capos! I know some like them, but damn the G7 or the Schubb is so much better! of course i know he's the master and his choiceis sound but, I've never had luck with those Kysers!
@Kavar2225 жыл бұрын
He uses them too, but he also likes this one so that he can handle it better when he throws it off during a medley like his chet atkins medley when he's going into cannonball rag

The Beatles addition to the song sucked.

WysteriaGuitar I believe you are missing the point as to why it's in there in the first place, also it is such a beautiful add on to the piece.

No, it is you that sucks.

I cant stand the beetles addition. Why change such a beautiful song....
@Player-ys6mn7 жыл бұрын
As much as I love and admire Tommy, he stepped way over the line here... "The song needed a little release"?????? OMG, and the part added was so trashy, don't care if it's the Beatles, doesn't fit at all. Very un-Emmanuel-like.
