What an amazing opportunity to see Tommy play some great tunes up close ! Here he plays a Kirk Sand Steel String guitar that happened to be on display at the Kirk Sand booth.

Jaw dropping. The more time I listen the more I'm flabbergasted. This performance is right out of his very being.

Oh, c'mon. It was really sloppy by Emmanuel standards.

I like tommy better in this environment. A master no doubt... Sometimes he gets a little crazy for me.. But after watching several of the meet and greet videos, I see his hospitality as a mentor/teacher and a person is second to none!

Yeah Smokerblacker....I'd love to hang out with Tommy myself...Has a great attitude. Lots of fun!

I totally agree, this is my favorite register of his. But Tommy himself said somewhere he considers himself an entertainer above all. I prefer his more intimate moments, he does get a little too crazy for me on his live shows. But to each his own. A true master, a great musical inspiration for myself as an amateur guitar player. Cheers!

@@SkumBanana Yeah sometimes he does go crazy, but it is just his inner trigger that makes him goes off. I think he is great guitar man who is by the way great showman to, and he likes to stress it out (like , firstly I am entertainer) and than guitar player, which is kinda odd to the most of us guitar trill seekers as he sad but he knows what he talks about. Sometimes you have to bee little crazy to go somewhere and than to come back. Let's be honest most of solo performers are not that funny ..either they are dead serious which is boring in a way if you look at the same person for hour ( and I am like that boring when I am playing) which actually is not that cool. I mean if you are showman especially solo performer you got to know how to occasionally make a joke or two, to get connection with audience which is most important thing, to keep attention of audiences . It is special skill set almost stage science and from that point of view I really get him. It is not only about guitar but everything when you are up there on stage..it could be frustrating as hell.

great to see him play things unplugged. He could never play a Maton unplugged, they just do not have any sound
@gummer19978 жыл бұрын
Thomas Rugg you must be crazy a maton 808 has a beautiful sound especially with the deep body it has, now his may not sound off much because he has a feed back screen in but he often plays one unplugged. Now the Santa Cruz tommy is playing at this caas event is in fact plugged in. So you are double wrong mate
