look at how it comes natural to him to play like that, he just combines armony and melody better than anyone else i’ve ever seen in my entire life, it’s a pleasure for your ears!

Lol. Gameshow rag is so typically Tommy. Overly-chorded, so complex and with jazzy improv that you can't remember it! Yet, Cannonball still keeps its simpler structure but he's added in superlative runs which enhance the song to sublime levels.

Im getting there.. Timing is my issue.. But what i was saying is ive got what hes playing though i still cant play it perfectly. Sound quality wise. Gameshow is harder than Cannonball. His tunes are challanging and a hell of alot of fun.

147sinenobe yeah, they are pretty challenging. I mean, one thing is being able to play the notes, another thing entirely is making it sound as good as he does.

Why is there so many songs with rag on the end?
@meezynx4 жыл бұрын
It's the style of music he's playing. It's called "ragtime." Look up Scott Joplin. He popularized back in the early 1900's. Most of his songs had rag at the end. It's just what composers been doing since then.

italkcrab's got it. And hand size doesn't really matter that much. Technique is more important. Dexterity also comes with training. That even applies to women with smaller hands.

He plays a Maton. It's neck is way thinner than usual, which makes it a lot easier. I own a Maton myself. Pricey, but those guitars are the definition of perfection.

l like the sound of gameshow rag better than cannon ball, but honestly he's not as smoothe as travis was with the thumb. It was off in places, but still top notch. It wasn't strong boom chuck the bass is off I dunno. The "chuck" is missing he doesn't hit 2 strings on down stroke while finger picking with thumb. Love it but just not as good as travis or buster b jones.
