Looks good! I’m torn about the upper splitters on my f80 m3. The car is black so it won’t be as noticeable, but def need to order the side skirts they look great. Time for you to get a trunk spoiler next!
@TommyLGarage6 жыл бұрын
Christian Perles haha yea I already ordered the spoiler and mirror caps. That and rear bumper pieces will complete the exterior look. That is until it’s time for new wheels haha

Great Video Tom, I love the side skirts. The front splitter doesn't look bad but I myself actually prefer the GTS Style front splitter, looks much more aggressive.

Assion Ayikutu I love the GTS splitter but I could not drive with it. I barely get up certain driveways as is. And it’s my daily so I need to be somewhat reasonable :)

Im never a fan of the front upper splitters, several reasons: 1. too much carbon! 2. you have the side skirts, front lower splitters and lip that have oem counter parts, bmw doesn't make upper splitters for a reason (it just doesn't look right). 3. Combining with the lower splitters on a non-black car the front looks like it's having two duck beaks on both sides of the bumper. I don't know if my language makes sense but you can pause the video at 10:18 and focus your eyes on the passenger side of the splitters. They really look like a duck beak to me. Just my 2 cents.
@TommyLGarage6 жыл бұрын
Victor Yao you make a great point. That’s why I’m torn between keeping them on and taking them off. I’ll see how they’ll hold up and will decide. At least they’ll protect my bumper at the next track day!

d choi according to Macht Schnell it’s a drop of 1.1 inch up front and 0.8 inches in the rear. Personally for me it sits a bit too low in the rear. I might have to look for another solution

Im interested in the carbon antenna cover but was reading online yesterday and people reported that it interferes with their satellite radio. Have you experienced any interruptions with the antenna cover?
@TommyLGarage6 жыл бұрын
Andres P. Well I heard that too. I never listen to satellite (haven’t subscribed actually) so it’s no issue for me. But I think you’re right. You won’t get satellite reception with it.
@apanizo26 жыл бұрын
Tom Lawrowski that’s a bummer! I love the carbon shark fin but also like to listen to my sat radio. I’ll have to either wrap the fin black or keep looking for options
