Excellent solution dude, taking off the side skirts and using bolts is better than the self tapping screws. 👍

Is the f82 side skirt removal the same? The door emblem I think might have to come out somehow. I’m asking because I did a CD skirt install but didn’t take off the whole skirt. I used 3/4” self tapper and only now I read anything longer than 1/2” might hit metal so I want to check. I just use a small ratchet, no drill

Yes the removal is the same I believe and I am pretty sure 3/4” self tappers are totally okay. There is a lot of room between the bottom of the skirt and the upper metal.
