Hi Paul, a wonderful running session with all these beautifully upgraded steam locomotives! The BR52 was also used in the Soviet Union. It was adapted for wide gauge, renamed ТЭ-series and usually beautifully decorated. Märklin has made a nice model of it, there's also a Hamo and Trix-version for DC. Usually not cheap though... Hi Erik, the Mallard was a very bad runner but with its new chassis fitted years ago is now my best Loco. The D52 Locos were a simplified D50 for War production with a designed life of 10 years. There are still a number running 80+ years later. I have wanted one ever since seeing the real thing in the Sinsheim Tech Museum but could not afford the model. This Fleischmann 52 was a real bargain I was so happy to buy it and how it runs. There is a similar Loco in Sinsheim that was used in Ukraine after WW2 and had its wheel width altered at the time. its still in the old livery. Hi Clive, The Mallard was tender drive but was useless, I grafted in a Railroad Flying Scotsman chaasis with a flywheel motor. Now its Loco drive a silky smooth. Cheers, Paul.👍👍

Hi Paul that was wonderful,i liked the Mallard and the route it took through the tunnel section,that's very clever.Also Paul is the Landy having it's exhaust checked ? Or gone down a massive pothole? Haha :) Take care Paul.

Hi Michael, Mallard is my favorite Loco, it went from being a poor runner to super smooth after its chassis transplant. Well spotted, I had to watch the video again to see about the "Landy". Its a Royal Mail Landrover that was driven by Postman Pat, he collided with the Bus Shelter. Probably Jess his Cat distracted him🐱. Have a great week. Cheers, Paul👍👍🙏
