I’ve had this bike for 6 weeks and have logged 936 miles. It’s absolutely a great entry level options to moto-style e-bikes. I did upgrade a bit: changed the tires from knobbys to slicks, wider pedals with more of a platform, a beefier rear suspension, and a 2nd battery which I put in the grate behind the bag. The 2nd battery has extended my range an additional 12-15 miles.

I keep my second battery on my backpack if I have to travel real far, I like this idea of a second battery on the bike already. My second battery is the br100 battery so it’s a bit heavy on the back.

@@arthurtheoppressor7104 Wow that is a heavy load! I think there are several batteries that can fit in there. Even with more amp hours than mine (10ah). I don’t know if the bike will allow any higher voltage battery than 48V, but maybe.

Range varies on how fast you ride it and the terrain. It could be as low as 25 miles on a lot of hills at fast speed, or as much as 60 miles riding slowly on flat terrain. The ambient temperature can also affect range. Add a reduction of as much as 50% if temps are below 45 F or more. There is no one range number for any electric vehicle. There are a lot of factors.

The key is only for locking the battery in place. Anyone can turn it on.
