I was a bit surprised that considering the state of your ground water (generally) you didn't have a low spot in the pit to (semi) permanently install a pump.

Need to get a sump pump to get as much of the water out of the pit as possible. Then once the concrete and brick is installed, and fiberglass covering is in place, that should solve your water problem. But you need the time to allow concrete to cure properly.

Brilliant team of brickies, especially staying on the job even though the deck was damp. That's the problem when your at or below sea level, your always going to have an issue with water levels. It's coming along nicely though, your new milking shed isn't that far off. 👍🤗

Hi Tom. We had a similar problem with ground water, we dug a 6ft deep sump in the low end of the parlour that doubled as a drainage point for all parlour/wash water. Put a submersible pump in it and direct it to dirty water system. Works well and keeps everything dry. However it wasn’t a wet as yours looks so you could soon be constantly pumping ground water. Your welcome to look at GEA parlour that’s very similar to what you’re putting in but 22 years old. Still looks and functions like it was put in 2 years ago, great parlour We’re spring block calving so it’s not your typical outfit for that system but does the job👍

Should of dropped a 200 litre plastic drum into front of pit floor, cut the top off after the concrete had dried and dropped a sump pump in that would automatically empty on its float switch, would of kept the pit water free. Afterward just make a concrete lid to sit on it . I offered this advice before, pretty much done this exact same build years ago but this man never replies to my messages

I have problem with high water table. I would bury a length of field drainage pipe behind the walls back fill with stone to the top and make a sump where an automatic pump can be installed while you have the chance. The fibre glass is on wrong side of walls to keep the water out of the pit , the pressure will be huge

Can I suggest that you review the constant water refill into your "pit" that you may have a problem with ground water seeping into the pit, if source is not traced and dealt with, once block work comes to an end, the water problem will continue. Some v/logs back I asked about rain fall/direction etc - no response - and when I look at your paddocks, after rain, and the puddles on ground surface, suggest that under ground water is not draining away, as it does the surface water then sinks into the vacant space - and "me thinks" that there is an accumulation under your buildings! - hence the "swimming pool in your new pit"!!
