Tom, I bought the Sage Barista Express Impress in January 2024 because of your videos 💪 and I love it! Now I can say I have mastered the machine; it's truly awesome! You mentioned that changing the temperature on it is very easy. To do this, turn off the machine and press the manual button with the single/double and power buttons simultaneously. Then, choose the desired temperature setting (power button light roast, double shot medium light, single-medium, manual medium dark, and grinding is dark). It's very accurate when you program it. Regarding dosage and ml, in your video, you pressed the button three times for perfect grinding, which is why it wasn't so perfect. When you grind only once, it's perfect, and the ratio will also be perfect in the end. Three-day-old coffee beans, and I'm in heaven! 😂

Feels like Ninja is price dumping with this machine. The amount of features put in this machine is insane, and Ninja is known for good quality appliances, so we can expect the same from this machine. So how did they make this price? I think they try to challenge Sage and DeLonghi on their territory, so they have to give a good price now. I bet in 2 - 3 years Ninja will be around $800-900, so buy it while you can. Great video, Tom, as usual.

@@gosman949 well, there are not so many things to fix or improve. Hot water dispenser? Well, not so many people need it, especially given this machine does long coffees. What other things? Quad shot, finally! A reason to have the espresso come out in two directions making two drinks at once. I never understood having two spouts on a double shot portafilter when I'm putting both into the same drink. They only need to add a hot water spout with a volume setting and it'll be perfect. It's a little slow on steaming compared to the thermojet in the Bambino etc.. but this level of automation with a thermojet is waaaay more expensive. Good job Ninja. Maybe Breville can lower their prices now? (Wishful thinking). I could buy 3 or 4 of these before one Oracle.

@@Sbwarwick I got for sale Delonghi Specialista. Earlier I disassemble those machine. And I got Breville and I check it construction too. Breville looks inside much robust, much solid and much professionally created unit. So these Ninja - reminds me Delonghi inside - cheap plastic assembly of other parts on strange plastic frame with plastic brewing group (top part of group, hided inside machine). So I got some concerns about Ninjas )))

Ninja is an American company, while Breville is from Australia. Both machines are made in Chinese factories.

Waste of money. Get a Gaggia classic and a decent grinder and you'll pull good shots for the next 25 years IF you service and replace burrs etc. Dont but these cheap appliances - invest in proper coffee machines!

Gaggia Classic? Decent grinder? What is this, amateur hour? Maybe instead of wasting your money on entry level at-home solutions, get yourself a coffee shop and roastery and hire professional baristas and travel weekly to South America to hand select the finest beans. Fucking rube.

Brew coffee, quick cold brew and quad shots are pure marketing.

@carlo.lozada it's literally not when it can do all those things 🤦🏽 does quad shots perfectly, and can brew everything you listed no issues. Hating just to hate 🤣

@@juanarroyo465 cold brew using hot water? Brew coffee when you can make americano using espresso? And quad shots in a 53mm? Not hate here, just logic.

Actually, the quad shot is pretty cool. The brewed coffee is fine - like American drip I'd say. As for cold brew, everyone's including it these days. It seems to be a trend.

Will be interesting to see how long the ninjas holdup over time. I have a ninja drip coffee machine and the display went to crap on it.

I have had several Ninja products. None of them have lasted. High on features, low on durability has always been my experience. They have failed so many times in the past for me that nothing anyone says about them pursuades me to spend any money on anything they ever make. If it says "Ninja" on it, it can rot on the shelves--I have no interest and will not recommend the product to anyone. Future trash.

I think you need to put a disclaimer about you working foe a competitor of Ninja 😂
@dexaminer60476 күн бұрын
@Sbwarwick Except I don't! Just had substandard experiences, particularly over time. Love the specs, just have never lasted very long. 1-2 years, then done. Too bad, too, because they have so many things I like the sound of, but they have just not lasted.

I don't know. A lot of people claim that they've had great experience with Ninja. As for me, I've only had this for a little while, so I cannot comment to longevity.
