I’ve watched a few other videos describing how this is done, they didn’t work. They left out , the waiting 5 mins. for the lights to stop flashing, then proceed. The manual doesn’t even state this 🤔. Thank you for sharing and explaining exactly how to do this and not leaving out important steps .

GUYS LISTEN my keurig would absolutely not brew at all. It would descale and it was clear in the needles. But my lights wouldn’t flash. I call support and she tells me to push the silicone button on the inside where the lever clicks to signal it’s closed on a k cup. If it doesn’t click then it’s completely broken. OR the button is to far down which I found out after getting mine replaced and taking it apart the old one myself. You can take the k cup holder out completely and the silicone button and push the little lever up from underneath and put the button back and it should start clicking and it should start brewing again!! Mine was tested 3 times it’s working again! MAKE SURE ITS UNPLUGGED FIRST.

Instead of waiting 5 minutes for the lights to go off I just unplug the machine and plug it right away. Works great 👍

That's exactly what I did 🤣. I'm descaling my machine for the first time today and I said to myself that it's easier to unplug the machine and plug it back in then wait for the lights to stop flashing. Great minds think alike!

Unless you're worried about the light you can just clean your coffee maker without having to do all the extra steps. Just run 12 oz of water / vinegar several times as if you're doing a regular cup of coffee but obviously no coffee and instead of water use half vinegar half water. I do this regularly but I am learning about the descale, I have a coffee but I am learning about the descale, I have a much older Keurig and it doesn't have that

I ran my machine in descale mode, start to finish and the light didn't out. So I unplugged it, and I ran plain water 3 times, and the descale light still has not gone out. I used water and vinegar. It worked fine the first 2 times I cleaned it. Do you have any suggestions. Thank you

Can some sort of water filter instead of tap water help make the water softer so you don’t have to descale as much?

I've never used water from the tap. Which is a heavy water where I live. I've used natural spring water and it works great. You can use Distilled water, but some have a weird taste. You can always use a water filter as well that attaches to your sink.

This is one of the worst models they have I have literally gone thru 3 in one year. I have no idea what it is but each time after a few uses it doesn’t take the water I have seen all your videos which are supper helpful. But this model is a pick of junk it keeps breaking down soooooooooooo fast I have no idea why and it’s the same issue over and over it just doesn’t suck up the water.
