Said it before , I'll say it again . I think you have the best tone on KZbin . That pink Nash is awesome . ..what pickups are in it ? Was thinking of getting a Fender American preformer strat and ripping the pickups out and putting in the pickups you have in yours . Thanks .

Wampler Pinnacle version 1 is still my favorite Distortion pedal of all time. Version 2 is great too. But, 1 is my favorite and hasn’t left my board since the day I bought it. (Except for a few weeks for repair when I wore the switch out)

Definitely DO a Harmonics video. Billy F. Gibbons him self is quoted as saying "Harmonics are the real finite part of playing." As you mentioned the different players have various Harmonic styles.

My favorite pedal was the Freidman Small box by itself... ;-) but otherwise that Xact Tone was crazy good to my ears. LOVED the "close" to Fuzz tone it was getting. Sounded PHAT!

So crazy I never see Nashville guys using the maxon sd9. That's a serious distortion pedal

Its true. Barely any of them do. They are Nobles and Mostortion all the way 9 times out of 10. The Maxon has a very mid based tone which is great for blues etc but not necessarily the best choice for recording the type of music they typically do.

love this demo, i think i've seen it 5 times already, but i'll be honest, i'm kind of foggy on some of the pedals, and i think an over the top view would have helped. i'm not surprised the wampler--which i'm most familiar with--sounds killer through the friedman. the fulltone i'm barely aware of and the others weren't on my radar at all. anyway thanks--you guys should make more of these videos.

Plays the fulldrive for a minute on one setting with knobs between 9-1 and suddenly he knows the wampler is higher gain and more modern? I see them as entirely distinct things. It's like comparing a TS type pedal with a Marshall in a box or a Dumble in a box pedal, not the same thing.
