Please tell me about your symptoms....as i lifted a sack of around 30-40 kgs two months ago....and i started pain when i bend forward ..i did x ray .. nothing's there... Also now the bending pain is almost zero ...but i am getting uncomfortable in the legs , i think it's due to sciatica.. .. i don't have pain which can freak me out....but is this a herniated disc?? I'm only 26, and I work in a chiropractic clinic. I hear patients all the time talking about their debilitating sciatica pain. The last few days, I've been noticing a lingering sorness in the exact area on my left side... I just came across your video and I want to thank you!!! I’ve been suffering from sciatic pain for I want to say 4 years. I’ve been to a chiropractor and he’s helped me lot but I have since then fallen on my back 2 times. And my pains have returned. Definitely works. I'm 36yrs old, and for the last 2 months, I found out I got a bulge in my L5s1, and L3L4 has some compression going on, and the doctors didn't do much but pills and therapy until jan. I came across this, and just yesterday, I couldn't walk, and today I'm up and about. I even went to see the Rams game with just a lil discomfort. Compared to yesterday, I'm glad I did these exercises. Thanks a lot, brother. I appreciate u a whole lot.

At this moment, I am holding back tears, the pain is so bad. My 92 yo mum can move faster and better than I can .. and she's had quad bypass surgery, strokes and a heart attack! lol I stand up and almost fall to the ground in pain. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to teach people how to relieve their pain. I do these exercises every morning as soon as I wake up and I just started doing them before going to bed at night. A year ago I was diagnosed with a vertebral subluxation but the chiropractor just showed that she doesn't know anything cause two months after my last visit, I was having sciatica pain and I don't understand how she failed to recognize that I have sciatica problems. I know about it cause my former chiropractor, who unfortunately died of ovarian cancer in 2019, diagnosed me with lumbar radioculopathy but thanks to you, I can wear my high heels again since I don't feel ankle pain anymore. They work. I’m 80 At 67 I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. The ortho Doc wanted to do surgery. Fortunately I got a second opinion and a good PT guy who gave me a series of stretching exercises including the ones you demoted. Also maybe a couple of bulging disc. I haven’t had real pain since. My back does get “tired” if I do a lot of work over 3 hours but no real pain. I do my exercises and light weight work Monday Wednesday and Friday. I’m in much better condition than my peers who’d haven’t had stenosis.

I am sixty eight this year. An industrious housewife for over forty years after I had my daughter. I start having bunions, then sciatica pain. I tried hard doing exercise on utube and when they opened the swimming pool I started swimming for an hour around four times a week. But my condition fluctuates. Sometimes it’s better and sometimes it’s so painful ever step that I take is one pain. The doctor gave me a nerve block last week by injecting steroid into my back but did not help much. Since your exercise helped you, are there exercise that you can recommend. I mean exercise that you think has helped you?

I did the same thing fell down a flight of stairs backwards and had a refrigerator land on top of me popped up with just a scratch on my big toe and everybody there said it was a miracle and it was! A bona fide miracle but now I’m having back pain about a year later and I think that has to be the reason why , So ’im gonna try these stretches. I’ve tried everything else. When I did PT, they only showed the nerve glide. The ankle pump is something I was unaware of. It worked wonders! Was having trouble walking today, but after doing those exercises for the disc bulge, I started to feel relief. And the numbness faded too. Thanks, doc!

I had my first back surgery at 27 after receiving an involuntary Afghan lead injection. At 31 I had a proper disc replacement and fusion (L5S1) done. The hardware was removed a few years later when I was 38. Even with all the trauma to my back and spine, I never experienced sciatica until the last week. This might be the worst pain I’ve ever felt! I really feel for you guys that have been going through this in the long term. I pray that one day your pain subsides. I honestly don’t know how guys like you are able to function.

I am in shock. THIS WORKED!!!!! I've been suffering with brutal pain down the back of my left leg. For the last 2 weeks I've had a tough time even sitting! Standing up sometimes the pain would be so severe I could cry and it would even repeatedly wake me up at night. My snacks have been and endless flow of Tylenol and Advil. I did this ONCE last night (7 reps) and my pain is now reduced by 90%. I slept for a straight 6 hours without pain. I am so happy to be able to move about normally!!! Hi...I'm from Philippines, I'm 47 yrs old. Almost 4 days of suffering pain at my side of my left leg. I'm taking pain reliever for 4 days for my leg pain. This actually worked. I did the two of the extra exercises too. (not the bulging disc, I don't think that was the problem) so excited I didn't have to reach for the motrin today. Thank you!

Recently started dealing with this. Found this vid. Did 5 reps right away. I can already feel a difference in my walking gait. Amazing. Doctors thought I had a problem with my knee cuz that's where my pain is localized. Gonna add this to my daily routine. Thanks a ton.

I'm 77 now and I had this trouble in 1978 and the orthopedic physician was no help but a friend recommended a good chiropractor who with a couple weeks of manipulations to reset a disc then had me do an exercise like this. In 6 months I was fine. Well 2 weeks ago the trouble came back. Fortunately I only had to limp (excruciating) to the store for a week in the early morning before this exercise kicked in and I could walk upright. During the day I am fine but I needed a 7:30 AM exercise on the living room floor to get going. Today I almost made it pain free but stopped almost outside the store and lay down on the senior's bench to draw up the knee. 1 minute and I was fine. Great video Jared. Thank you.

The standing version fixed me amazingly. I have stenosis and found a site that said you have to do extension sometimes even if it hurts to pull the discs back away. 60 second hold. If pain stops from exercise you can keep doing it

Thank so very much for all this advice. I've suffered a very painful recovery from open bilateral Inguinal hernia surgery. 8 weeks of absolutely no exercise. Then 10 days of a head cold kicking my butt down. So I pray and hope all your suggestions help this stupid sciatica pain in my entire right leg.

I am 53 years old I have compression and fractured my back twice and I've had dozens of surgeries broken bones and recently have been suffering from sciatica pain I've been watching videos trying all these different stretches none of them have worked until this video this is the first time I've watched a video done the stretches and immediately felt true pain relief I could barely walk 10 minutes ago to the back of my knee was killing so bad and now I'm walking around with no pain Thank you

Have you recovered. I’m 24 years old and work as a groundsman and tree climber for a tree company since I was 18. When I was 20 I messed up my sciatic nerve carrying a big ass log and felt a sharp pain shoot through my lower back..I dropped the log and couldn’t even bend over..I was out for 2 weeks no work getting chiropractor masages until I was able to bend over again.

Im 18 from Pakistan, developed a similar pain as this in my left lower hip area. Didn't know what it was in the starting but I do know. Woke up this morning and was unable to stand up on my own and I can already feel my legs getting weak almost making me feel I'm paralyzed. Ty for posting these, they were a great help.

Two days ago, even *nudging* my leg made me yelp out in pain, having to *inch* myself around with a cane (I'm 26!!!). I did the first and last exercise a few times a day the last two days, and I feel SO MUCH BETTER. I can walk around with ease, and I can shift around in bed without having to stay solid still out of fear from pain. Thank you!!! 😭🙏💕💕

@@kuanggechu6077 Because the SOURCE of my pain still exists (I still have minor scoliosis which I SUSPECT is the cause), my pain is not completely gone. For example, the other day I sat directly on the floor for a few minutes, which inflamed my sciatica because I was pressing on my tailbone. That definitely brought major pain back for a few days (the first night I was writhing in bed!). However, 1: I only sat on the floor (something I avoided the last handful of years) because it had been so long since I had a major episode, I forgot! and 2: the pain would have lasted much longer (my episodes used to last weeks) had I not regularly done these exercises. So my pain is not 100% gone because sciatica is a symptom, not the originating problem. But even months later, doing these exercises before I sleep and after I wake up, either prevents the episode completely, or makes it last much shorter and/or hurt way less. Besides that 1 episode I mentioned, I haven't used my cane in months and I can still shift around in bed and sleep soundly at night.

Did them for 2 days now, didn't ease the pain yet but extended my range of motion a lot! I can finally straighten my back :) Also your tip with the sleeping position on your back with a pillow under your knees is literally the only position I can fall asleep in, thanks for changing my life for the better!

My recent MRI of Lombart shows an L4-L5 disk bulging. So much pain, couldn't stand more than 2-3 minutes, could not walk, and lots of pain. Buging disk means space between 2 disks become smaller and pushing liquid towards the middle spine canal cavity and causing pain by pushing the spine. So while searching KZbin, I found out about the Inversion table. After watching a few testimonials, I realized that the inversion table basically hangs the body upside down and expands the entire spine. Looks like the space between disks is increased. So I search the internet and found an inversion table for $99.00. Using only 5 mins a day on a 60% incline level, no immediate help in the first 15 days, then a little less pain after 30 days, and ALL pain was gone after 60 days. Literally NO PAIN. It does the work, looks like my entire back spine is stretched, and increased the space between L4-L5 and blood may be circulating more. Increasing the space between disks pushed back the bulge inside its original space by relieving spine nerve pinch. What a miracle. Maybe the local gym may have an inversion table, everybody should try it.

I spent 6 hrs in a&e a couple days ago, because the extreme pain was worrying me (didnt want to loose ability in my legs) it felt like bad cramp in my left calve and nerve pain BUT not down the back it was all over the sides 😫🔥😫 THANK YOU AGAIN 🙏🏽 FOR THE DEMONSTRATION 😇😇😇 Update: relief didn't last longer than an hour or soh!😢 but I believe it will get better x

I wish I would have found this much earlier. I haven't been able to move my left leg normally for close to a year and sitting in a car for more than short time periods is insanely painful. Thank you so much! Even after just a few sessions I'm starting to get some more mobility again, which is definitely a plus these days with a 2 month old daughter.

#3 the piriformis exercise reduced the pain to a tolerable level. I've been having calf pain and today was the limit of what I could stand and then found your channel. Thank you so much! I'm going to keep doing them to try and keep the pain under control. I subscribed of course!!!!!

Wow, did this, hip pushups for a bulge disc & the leg up & straighten, 1st exercise, it was instant relief, from back of my leg to all the way to my ankle, gone ! I sit on my butt all day in an office, the root of the problem I think, Thanks very much 👍🏻

This was instant relief!! Just had a flare up for about 3 days with the pain worsening each day. Muscle relaxers only gave me relief for few hours each day. Pain was so bad, I was so grumpy and irritated. I injured it few months ago at work, and have occasional flare ups. Thank you for your video!!! Saved

I don't know what to say but this really helps and ease down alot of my sciatic nerve. I just literally did it for less than 15 mins and I can feel the difference from constant pain to very mild pain. I barely feels any pain from it after doing the exercises. Recommend it.

Cobra pose (lying on stomach with elbows up) for half an hour or one hour while watching netflix or reading a book REALLY helps with pain. Turmeric powder (with black pepper for absorption of nutrients) mixed in hot water/vegan milk really helps as it has healing and anti inflammatory properties. Eating ashwagandha can also help if its a pure source like from the brand “Organic India” within India.

Just this afternoon i got a pain deep inside my hip that felt tingly all the way to my left foot. I know what sciatica pain is from a good friend from 10 years ago in my hometown. I jumped straight onto KZbin and this is the first video that popped up. I did get relief from your first exercise, and i showed mild degeneration of my lumbar spine 15 years ago on a scan. So i go back to my GP on Monday, I'll ask for another scan on my lower back. I've been sitting down a lot more lately and sitting always kills my tailbone after about half an hour. Thanks for your video i'll be back for the bonus exercises after i get the scan results.
