I love that after seeing Potato last game do it we're seeing the rest of them experiment with more cities. It's definitely a fun way to play the game and not actually terrible in Lekmod if you can handle it.

Chaco canyon is actually super cool. 3000 year old remains of a bunch of buildings, and at night the sky is so clear I literally looked up and saw the milky way with the naked eye.

Lewis is going to snowball massively from here. Equal science to Duncan right now with disadvantage of not having public schools yet. Also has unmatched production due to loads of cities + exploration. Also Duncan seems to be going tourism (again) on an oceanic map with a coastal capital and little to no navy. Prediction: a Tongan raiding party will just come steal all his great works of art in the capital whenever Lewis wants it so.

I think their problems with not wanting to go to war are simply because of online speed. The game is too fast so attacking is bad.

I've never been slowed down by war in civ 5, in fact I remember once fighting a total war from the middle ages all the way to the modern era and winning that game (It was very hilly terrain, and we both had a few forts since it was a defensive war for me) Anyway in my opinion you only get slowed down by war if you don't prepare enough, and when are you ready for war then? if you can build all your buildings in your important cities in 1 turn, for me that's the epitome of you being ready for war, production is king in this game
