@@DoABarrelRol1l I wouldn't think so, I've noticed the civ date calendar generally lags behind the relative tech stage of the game the more you play around with speed settings & difficulty and all that, and lekmod speed is very fast due to being designed for multiplayer games. That's why all their techs take 1 or 2 turns by this point

@@cyrus9043 that's a joke right? the fact that so many games ended up in culture victories basically proves how unbalanced this mod is, meanwhile me and my friends playing the base game (we only roughly play twice a year on average) never end with such a problem

​@@matheusGMNthe problem with the base game is that optimal play is very similar every game for most of the games. You must go liberty or tradition (or rarely piety for a religion civ) and thwre are a bunch of things you just shouldnt build. Lekmod isnt perfect, but it gives you a lot more choice throughout the game. Plus the new civs are cool.

@@matheusGMN nah its pretty balanced, you can counter culture effectively if you know what you are doing. the problem is that it usually involves conquering, which the yogs obviously are avoiding since its not fun content to get other players knocked out completely from the game

The reason they end in tourism is because nobody declares war in time before it happens. Tourism only becomes a factor later into the game but they always just sit around playing Sim City by then. They're at least getting better at managing culture and not agreeing to stupid things that boost Tourism but still.

Edit: Found it, it was called "Castaways". I can't remember the show name, but one like Daltos is describing at 2:07 did air once. Had a bunch of normal people with a single suitcase, but the suitcase got tossed and they had to find supplies and other people. Like by episode 4 everyone but 3-4 people had washed out, and it was a rather depressing experience even for those who succeeded. Was an interesting watch though.

Please war more, which means shorter games and shorter recordings, but more games more dynamics, also end games halfway if the winner after a war is obvious. The first 100 turns r the best so pack it with war n fuckery.

Daltos’s casual use of the term “ooga booga” when referring to a game where you can’t use science buildings is just racist. It’s a term used against many African and Indigenous cultures worldwide. This guy needs a reality check and to remember he’s an Internet personality and addresses a wide range of audiences.
