For those saying Kort didn’t deserve this with Ziva being alive in the end keep in mind Tent Kort made the team’s lives hell since he showed up. Tried to kill Tony in season 5, had a hand in creating the port to port killer in season 8 who killed many including Mike Franks, and prior to this scene he personally killed several agency officials from different agencies including the original NCIS director he also tried to kill Fornell for being a witness. He may not have killed Ziva but Kort is not worth anyone’s tears.

Looking at the positions people were in, I’d say it was actually Tony and he was aiming for Korts middle (the greatest body mass and less chance of missing and hitting the others. If you look he’s only kind of aiming (hip fire) so not 100% accurate.

Mark Harmon chose to leave. He stated after 19 years, he wanted to do other things. I hate he left too, but can't fault him for leaving. He did give us 19 long years. Plus, his character is still alive so you never know when he'll show up unexpectedly. Gibbs would be in his 70s now anyway. Dude has earned and deserves his retirement

That all checks out. Guy reaches for his gun with 6 agents pointing weapons at him. What exactly was his plan? He did not seem suicidal in the scene. They wanted everyone to have a chance to shoot him, but the writers didn’t quite have the nerve to let them commit murder, so they decided to leave it to your imagination that maybe they would have murdered him if he didn’t reach for his gun. All and all, pretty silly scene.
