Later in the episode, Tony finds a picture of him and Ziva. Tali points to the photo and says, "Abba" and "Ima", which means father and mother. Then she points to Tony and says "Abba". I don't understand why Tali didn't call Tony "Abba" as soon as she saw him.

Since season 3 started change bit / he really showed maturity and deep of his character when he had to take control of situation when teenager held class with bomb /the episode when he went after ziva on railing to help her disarm bomb/ when tonny saw his best friend cop killed and couldn't do anything to stop it / in serial killers case / when took over team and held it together when gibs resigned after his coma / when he turned down promotion to lead his own team in Spain/ becouce he cnow his team needed him at that time gibs wasn't feeling well / he felt guilt after disaster with French arms dealers daughter and ziva had to snap him out of his funk / I believe it was moment when Tony saw behind ziva mask before that he flirted with ziva wanted to take her in bed / but when ziva helped him recover he started to have deeper feelings for her /

I stopped watching NCIS a while back, but I did look up the characters to see where they were and found out about this. It just seemed so wildly out of character and odd, but maybe watching the journey it would have made more sense. EDIT: Ya'll, I'm not saying it's wildly out of character for Ziva and Tony to fall for each other. I mean that the last time I watched NCIS they were buddy-buddy, so the idea of her running off and never telling him she had a kid felt out of character to how I remember their chemistry. Also feel like Tony would paternity test the kid just to be sure, not because he wouldn't trust Ziva but because he doesn't seem to trust that director.

If you’d watched the show you’d get it. Ziva left NCIS and the US and went back to Israel. Tony tracked her down there and Tali was concevied while they were alone together in Israel. Ziva stayed, while Tony came back to Washington.

I'm still not convinced that's Tony's kid cause Ziva slept with 3 other guys before she slept with Tony so any one of them could have been the father. This was bad writing when Ziva left the show due to bad directions with the character. So unless a DNA test proves that Tony is the Dad, I'm still standing by my conviction cause DNA evidence is much stronger than someone's word.

Weird seeing an eloquent speaker like Diana Troi unable to put two words together. “I’m sure you’ve heard that there was a survivor…” “Talia was named after Ziva’s sister yes…” The dialog is terrible, just spit it out! “We have your daughter here.” The let him figure it out. Also it’s very hard not to laugh at him trying to be threatening when his character is an incompetent clown most of the time.
