Wonderful!! A sublime bassist but more importantly a great composer. At the end of the day thats what its all about...the music!

Thanks. I think composing is a great way to express yourself and to help give you your own voice.

I'd take this style of bass playing over the style of plucking and thumping the bass any day! Tony I always did dig your style. You're layed back and in the cut (pocket) just the way a smooth bass player should be. By the way, you and Hiromi really compliment one another. YOU DA MAN T.!

Sounds almost the same on that Yamaha as he does on his Fodera. When you're as good as he his, the instrument becomes a much small component of how you sound.

+mikefredbass Thank you so much for noticing. I put a lot of effort and time into how I touch and feel my instrument. You should always be able to sound like yourself no matter what you're playing. That's the ultimate goal. :)

I actually like better Tony's sound with the Yamaha and just to clarify I am. Fodera fan #1 I own 5 beautiful butterflies

This proves you don't need ear-piercing vocals to make real music. The harmonica player scared me for a sec, though. Thought he was gonna start singing!
