The look in Christopher's eyes, for a few seconds you could see the little kid in him, wounded, hurt, that Tony was showing more care and concern for Jackie Jr's future. And also in that moment you see the awareness that he's nothing more than a murderous low-life and not the golden boy, the 'good kid' he most likely wished he could be. Brilliant acting!! Absolutely brilliant!

He did love him. It's a fked up life, he kinda ended his misery. Tony knew if Chrissie relapsed, that it's not just "one relapse", just for the sake of it. It usually doesn't work that way. Do you remember Chriss entering the Bada-Bing, shooting around! etc.,, plus other mistakes, Tony knew about drugs way before, he kinda pretended he doesn't see it. If it was somebody else, he would be dead wuuuaaay beffoore, or sent to hospital, not being member anymore, at their best. At least how I see it. Tony was damn tolerant to him.
