Hi Tony! mate, cheers by the way for your video you did on concussions and hyperbaric treatment. I happened to watch it recently before I was badly concussed at my first ever sparring session! So when I was concussed I knew straight away what to do. Now I have rented a hyperbaric chamber and am on strict rest and recovery for the next 6 months.

Tony makes it look easy because he's been doing it for years. For myself, I need to practice these moves slowly at first focusing on having the feet moving the same distance and making sure I end up in the same stance. It's not a natural movement so will take time, unless you are extremely coordinated.

Hi. What are the pros and cons of working on heavy bag every day like 8 to 10 rounds?
@SBeest1Ай бұрын
Training on the heavy bag is part of training. You will also want to incorporate shadow boxing, calisthenics, sparring and a double-end bag in your routine. If you train alone or at home, definitly buy a double-end bag. Great for timing. And don't forget rest! Most important.

I have question. I've taken up boxing for fitness but I'm considering doing some sparring at some point. When would be a good time to start sparring? Should I start as early as possible or get used to the forms and combo's before sparring?
@domagojpetrovic5242Ай бұрын
You should get to know every single punch in boxing and basic footwork like hopping bodyweight one foot to other and moving around the ring with footwork and then start sparring (dont spar hard go light). Only when you are used to throwing all of those you can spar (you can even learn combinations before if you want). The answer to the second question is yes cause it takes some time to get used to it all
@Alex.Image1Ай бұрын
3-6 months of regular training (3-4 times a week) don’t rush into sparring you will get lit up by someone who is trained. Take your time to learn footwork, combos etc

How much do you weigh? (Kg)
@ippo-s6iАй бұрын
@@CoolChicken23 i weigh 35 kgs
@CoolChicken23Ай бұрын
@@ippo-s6i Weight is very crucial in the Dempsey roll technique, You are distributing mass by rolling left to right by the help of legs and hips (Momentum). The heavier you are, the greater the power. Remember boxers have their own unique style, don't assume that Dempsey is your style, try other styles that makes you comfortable and not look awkward while fighting. Everyone has their own archetypes (unique body, body energy distribution, etc.), after all, it really depends on the individual's gene.
