I'm just gonna say this, your videos really helped me get out of a dark place. I was depressed and living a sedentary lifestyle, now I'm working out every single day and getting better and better with my punches, not only did discovering boxing help me get myself into shape, it gave me a way to healthily release my anger and stress. for a boss man that states in one of his other videos that he never had any desire to coach, he certainly can break things down and explain them in a very simple, understandable way. seems to take the damage and repercussions of getting hit in the head seriously. think that may be part of the decision not to be a boxing trainer. or, Tony knows and i'm rambling.

My first day going to a Boxing Gym, the coach had me doing jump ropes before anything else. I prepared for whatever I thought I could, like handwrapping and a little on punching form so I wouldn't be wasting time or using too much arm power, but I didn't even think of jump ropes. I've never jump roped for as long as I can remember in my 22 years, so my dumbass was trying to get the hang of it for what felt like an hour but I didn't give up, didn't want to quit and most of all, didn't want to be scared away from the gentleman sport of Boxing by simple embarassment. My top count of jumps went from 0 to just 3, but it was progress. Unfortunately, I busted one of my fingers catching a medicine ball the wrong way, and then my city ordered another lockdown, closing the gyms again. My doctor told me to go easy on hands for about three weeks, but I didn't give up. As soon as I could grip things with that finger again, I bought a jump rope and started practicing around my neighborhood. I just finished today's practice and I'm making progress. Then I saw this video, and its like a godsend. I've been watching your other videos to help myself catch up so to find this video on accident was one hell of a coincidence. This channel is a great supplement to training and while I doubt you'll see this comment, Tony, I really appreciate these videos and the lessons in them. Respect from Canada and the Philippines!

As a bodybuilder who has spent my entire life training to compete at my best I've since started to learn how to box its something I've wanted to do for quite some time but my focus was on bodybuilding last year I joined gym with a very accomplished boxer who has started learning me obviously I am like a robot with punches you could take a nap between but after a few lessons I've really started to appreciate the fitness levels and dedication it takes to be good at this I genuinely haven't done anything so demanding physically or mentally before skipping is one of the things I do daily and I've started logging my progress on video all be it small I'm progressing I'm the least aggressive guy ever but this is my new passion to become super fit flexible and down size and enjoy life thank you for this video it's very helpful

I started boxing a short while ago, after training in MMA for a few months. Boxing has completely changed my life. It helped me cut out sugar in my diet, which in turn lead to having more energy, better sleep and better diet due to my taste buds changing. Boxing put me on a new course of being way more active, healthier in my brain, stronger in body, and way more disciplined. I am less angry and more stress free. Plus my body feels like its in my mid 20s again. You haven't got to compete, even hitting the pads, bags, and the occasional spar makes you feel absolutely amazing.
