This is a colt by a stallion that is just Too Darn Hot at the moment! We trained his first southern hemisphere winner in Climate Change, and then Arabian Summer claimed the lucrative Magic Millions Ballarat 2YO Classic and the Aquis Golden Pearl on the Gold Coast. He has also sired winners with Too Darn Lovely and Too Darn Lizzie dominated them in the Magic Millions The Debut 2YO Fillies to become the fourth winner in his first racing crop here.
In the northern hemisphere, he finished the season as the leading first-crop sire of all time by Group winners - led by Group 1 winner Fallen Angel and Group 2 winner Darnation.
This colt looks every bit as sharp as these early types by Too Darn Hot, who look as though they will continue to train on into their three-year-old years. He is outstanding value, purchased from Sledmere Stud for just $100,000.
The dam of this colt, Imoto, won $200,000 in her own right and has produced a four-time winner from one to race. Named Sokudo, he is a City winner and has also won just shy of $200,000. Imoto is a half-sister to three-time Group 1-winning filly Yosei. She won the AJC Sires' Produce, the Qld Tattersall's Tiara, and the Thousand Guineas.
