So the 'X' represents a thumb slap. You kind of need to flick your thumb aiming for the bottom two strings indicated on the tab. The tricky part is 'plucking' (playing) the stings at the same time. Try this by practicing the thumb slap by itself first (get it accurate so youre hitting only the strings you want). Then to get the plucking and slap together, hook your fingers into the strings you want to play, and as your thumb "slaps" down, pull your fingers up and you'll get that simutaneous sound. Look up a thumb slap guide on guitar on yt for visual aid. They'll explain it better than I, and be able to show you which is better lol. Best of luck!
