I haven't listened to these guys in so long. I remember one time when they were playing Warped Tour. My town was well known for a long time as the place it always rains on warped tour, aside from the last couple years. Like every time warped came around, massive thunderstorm. Pierce the Veil was playing as the rain was really getting going, and the rain was hitting all the speakers, making this crackling effect and Vic kept stopping to be like "whoa, what's that sound, that's crazy" and the entire crowd, of like...thousands, just screaming back at him "IT'S THE RAIN. KEEP GOING" because kids from florida have no sense of what is and isn't safe in the rain, like, say, thousands of dollars in electronics.

The look of simultaneous bewilderment and absolute awe when hearing Kellin Quinn's clean vocals for the first time made me smile so much, because that's EXACTLY how I reacted the first time I heard King for a Day :D Both PTV and SWS are sooooo freakin' good and I wish I discovered them earlier. I'd have loved this shit at 14.20 isn't too bad though, and now the emo is coursing through my veins lmao
