I feel like there is something much deeper to this song. Apart from being the same backwards as it is forwards. I feel like this song, especially the very end, releases DMT chemicals. Idk what it is but this track makes me imagine and feel something similar to death. Like after all other organs have shut down and you are left with a brief moment of unexplainable brain activity…. You are somehow aware that you are dead. And you are still in between death and what happens next (if anything) and you still have complete uncertainty to if there is something coming next or not. Of course you can’t see anything or think of words. You just know you are dead because your brain has not shut down yet. You have awareness of that. And the fade out/pitch drop at the end is the moment where brain activity starts to decline and it’s inevitable. You don’t feel ready. But you can’t stop it. And then it is truly over for you and your brain. If you are unfamiliar with what DMT (not just the drug) is then I recommend giving it a quick study. It’s interesting. I am pretty sure that everyone will have at least some kind of fear in that moment. But if you release DMT in your life via drugs, sleep, meditation, and types of music , then maybe it won’t be so intense and scary at death. Which is the whole theme of fear inoculum, right? Facing fears to overcome them? (I’m not suggesting to do drugs lol, I’ve never even tried DMT myself). Idk I just think there’s something about this song related to death. And while I enjoy listening to it on repeat, it can leave an unsettling feeling.
