Hey Matthew Allred, I also was a hard addict, as bad as it gets. On one of my very long, sleepless months of cold turkeys i endured, i found an old Triple J's Hottest One Hundred compilation cassette tapes in my parent garage, and it had Stinkfist on it, and it took my breath away, it is the first time my soul had been spoken too, and it became a massive support in the nights, when the world was sleeping but not me, body racked with withdrawal and the nights i was out having the time of my life. It took me another ten years to sort my life out, and one of the main constant staples was my love for TOOL. My crazy time as an out the gate, howling professional punk junky is now a life time ago, and a lot, most everything has changed, but not my love for TOOL. I still get a phenomenal buzz from listening to it

❤❤❤❤New International Version Psalm 29 A psalm of David. 1 Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. 2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his[a] holiness. 3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters. 4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. 5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. 6 He makes Lebanon leap like a calf, Sirion[b] like a young wild ox. 7 The voice of the Lord strikes with flashes of lightning. 8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert; the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh. 9 The voice of the Lord twists the oaks[c] and strips the forests bare. And in his temple all cry, “Glory!” 10 The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever. 11 The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.

this song is literally perfect for every generation. so glad i heard it's message growing up in high school during the 90's. learned not to care about opinions...and i don't thinks it's political. "learn to swim" peacefully to all u lovely, independent and open-minded people. we should actually be discussing the people that drive us apart!!

Tool reminds me of being on psychedelic drugs, without taking the drugs! Danny Carey is nothing short of otherworldly! As well as the rest of the band!!

OMG!! I have always said that every time I listen Tool is like I'm floating with the rhythm of the song while on drugs...the funny thing is that I have never ever been on drugs :)

Because I can't understand the censored lyrics, here's what I think he's saying: Love L. Ron Hubbard Bless all his clones Praise all these gun-toting Hip gangsta wannabe's (Learn to swim learn to swim) (Learn to swim learn to swim) (Learn to swim learn to swim) (Learn to swim learn to swim) Groove retro anything Dig your tattoos Love all you junkies and Heart your short memories...

I love this song, just for the first time really listened to it. video is crazy but I really love the artistry especially back when they didn’t have digital art to make these, it’s much better than what you see in today’s digital art world

The censorship is annoying but this song came out in 1996 and I imagine the video was released shortly after that. So yeah, this is the original format of the video from almost 20 years ago. Since it wasn't made for the internet, it was censored for tv. Remember that before you start bitching about it.
