Amazing. I never saw this before. Tool is my favorite band of all time, since I was in Middle School. And Maynard has always been my main inspiration for singing. Their last album came at just the right time to help me get through some of the hardest years of my life, and now I finally have stability (the perfect time to see this).

Don't know how many will know, but when you bought that physical album for 80 bucks, it had this exact video on its integrated display and speaker, and when you open up the CD, it would start playing it. You could open it up during virtually every moment during the album and it would always sound nice and harmonic with every song. Probably cause they're all in D minor with similar chords. 😁

It has to do with the theme (Sun becoming...) and matching secvences (and big moments). That's why it appears to fit so well with Pneuma.

"Probably cause they're all in D minor with similar chords." that is absolutely not true. Fear Inoculum is in A (except for the very end) and Culling Voices is in B. and given they're basically only 6 tracks, that makes a third of them not in D. enough to make "all of them are in D" invalid.
