I love my socket bosses. I mainly work out of a storage container here on the ranch and I have to walk across the gravel and the field to work on stuff and the ability for the rails to retain the sockets as you push them around in the cart from equipment to equipment and what not is what sold me on them. Fast acquisition and fast disposition is something I was not used to but now I refuse to work without it.

You can also get 3/4 inch sockets holders for those rails I have a few. The locking holders are nice. Great to see you have those colorful hf sockets.

Oh wow nice. I did not know that. I don't use 3/4 but that is awesome they make them bc I know alot of people who do use 3/4 thanks for sharing that.

It took me a couple to realise, i have those the 3/8 part # is 8401 i have to admit i haven't used the 3/8 but i have used the 1/2. I don't have the "boss trays" but i do have each 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 socket rails. I do also have more of what i would call a cheaper type most of mine I've color gray for metric red sae. Great post Tony i would say the Ernst are the best of the bunch i have

I have westling socket trays and i absolutely love them . They r good socket holders a lil pricey but in my opinion well worth it . Great video as always thanks for sharing #smallenginenation

I have a few of the short earnest rails that are keeping my toe bag as I am a technician and a factory and I go from machine to machine and there are lots of plastic deformities on my one rail but I've only ever had two and only one of them has the deformities which are things that happen these. I used to work in a plastic factory but usually they get taken care of by quality control and the entire batch would be pulled out and manually inspected. So I don't know if Ernest is you the highest of quality of the rails but just off of what I have though. I love the olsa tools

I use the kobalt socket org. Used to use the single rail craftsman but the kobalt compact the sockets in the drawer better.

What is the part number on that tekton 18 inch ratchet and do they have the same size in 1/2 inch drive?

It is linked on my list in the description. And yes indeed they do. Actually I believe the 1/2 is 24 inches long or around that 👍👍👍

Haha truthfully I really don't use them. It's not often I need a 12 pt 1/2 Dr socket. But I didn't want to pay alot for something I really don't come across very often. If that makes sense

Yes they are. But if you but from the tekton site you get that rewards money

Thx, so the rails and sizes are the same and you can use the rails from the tekton on the ernst or vise versa.

@@nickdiblasio7464 yes. Now some of the individual tekton rails may not be the same I'm not exactly sure on that. I know the socket Boss trays and rails are the same but some of tektons sockets come on individual rails and I'm not sure if they are the same.

Judging by just the looks of it it looks like the same product just with tekton it's a price variation it has all the same features an attachments. I have and use ernst for years but just noticed tekton has the same tail system and accessories oh, I what it looks like it's just change the name on it
