Ok there's some rules to Tool, the singer Maynard James Keenan is in 3 bands Tool, A perfect circle and pucifer. He mixed his lyrics between the bands to tell a story about his mom. Beware his fans will want you to get the story right so... When you listen to there songs Do Judith by A Perfect Circle, Then wings for Marie 1 &2 then Tools 10,000 days. Then Jimmy for his story. Its pretty deep. Oh yeah the dude owns a vinyard.I recommend a glass of wine and some Crown 2 fingers and 2 ice cubes

Lead guitar and Bass guitar... Tool is in a category all their own. The more you listen to them the more you will understand. Lyrics by Maynard James Keenan are really awesome. Very intelligent individual. There are very few actual music videos but they are done by the lead guitar player. I hope y'all get some ear phones so y'all can hear all the detailed parts in their music and we can jam with y'all too. PEACE!

This is the second video I've ever seen on your KZbin channel, you caught my attention with this song. This is one of my favorite Tool songs. 2:16, "Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" is basically what they're saying. 8:46 "Liar, lawyer, mirror for you, what's the difference ?!?" Neither one of the three can be trusted

Welcome to the Tool family!!!! one of my first concerts was Tool when i was in college. My fraternity brother and I went and almost died on they way there, long story, and it was one of the most amazing concerts I have ever been to. Maynard never looked at the crowd, the entire concert he sang with his back to us and with the lights and the visuals on the huge monitors, it was like being in one of their videos.

Love the tension and dissonance of TOOL. They cause a comfort pain that widen's the senses and put's one on high alert. Thanks for the reaction. Great choice. Tool are great. They are a progressive rock band, with psychedelic influences and deep lyrics. They are the Pink Floyd of the 90ies and 00s. The band itself describes Tool as "Thinking man's metal". For me they always were one of the most interesting and intelligent mainstream bands next to System of a down. Both had platinum records, both won grammies. It's amazing when you think about how unique and experimental they are. Nothing you would expect to be that popular.

This song is about all the legal issues tool has faced from the record label to band management and also from production members of the albums. They have been sued by the first record label for breach of contract, finally got released from the label signed with the new label. Had to sue there old management team for after the lateralus record. Then right before the 10,000 days record they were sued buy a member of the production team for copy right infringement on stuff the band designed for the record. They have had quite a legal battle.
