This is my way to remove and replace the serpentine belt and tensioner on a 2008 Honda Civic with a 1.8L engeine.

There's no need to remove the crankshaft pulley to get to the tensioner. You can fish it out from above by turning it upside down. Remove the alternator and water pump its better than risking damaging the crankshaft. I've seen it happening. Even if you have to remove the motor mount as well.

how important is it to the the air bleeding on the tensioner? and also could this part cause serious vibration issues?

It’s good to do, but I doubt it’s critical. A big vibration from the belt area is more likely to come from the harmonic balancer (crank pulley). Check to see if it’s intact.

@ I replaced the harmonic balancer vibration still exist, I think it’s my tensioner it cost like 30 bucks in amazon

another method is to remove the alternator and water pump pully. then you can pull tensioner out from the top.

you dont have to remove the crankshaft pulley, the tensioner get out easy from the top side

That’s true. The only reason I decided to go out the bottom is because I didn’t want to mess with the alternator.

Cable tie belt to main pulley,and rotate main pulley using common ring.
