I have the HF one and on my second one since the first one fell out of my pocket while mowing. Got chopped up. The clip is the biggest downfall, it needs to be thicker and stronger spring tension.

@@TOOLMANTIMSWORKSHOP - this is the other model that Jack has been promoting on his TSPC Amazon picks. It's 45 lumens with AAA. It works great for inexpensive back-up. We have Nitecore USB - rechargeable keychain lights (55 lumens), Olight tactical 18650 Li-Ion, mini-Maglite AA & AAA, and most recent addition is two USB-rechargeable Lumitop 440 rechargeable headlamps - came in real handy with recent storm & POWER OUTAGE last week. We were late ordering a Klarus RS10 USB-rechargeable emergency lantern, and it was returned (delivery rejected)? when we left town early Friday due to the storm, right before power was restored and 3 local deliveries (COD) over the weekend were sent back. (landlord picked up our Amazon intl delivery though 😁)

I need to get one of the harbor freight lights, I fit the category of losing or breaking them. I'm carrying a Nightstick MT-220 (work provided) that's pretty similar to both of those,

The instruction manual gives directions to get the battery out. Granted it seems a bit risky, but if the battery went out I would give it a go.

They did type C on their big 7000 lumen flashlight. Hopefully they'll refresh the whole line at some point with some newer stuff.

I use rechargeable Eneloop batteries in my AAA Streamlights. The advantage is that if the batteries die, it takes seconds to replace them vs recharging a fixed battery. I don't buy anything at Harbor Freight. I've never found anything there that was of the same quality as what it was a copy of.

We were about to pick-up some Eneloop AA/AAA batteries last week, but they were short on inventory at our local HW store, so we picked up Energizer instead
