Toontown Concepts: Capturable Playgrounds

Back in the days of TTO, I use to have dreams about cogs taking over the playgrounds, I remember seeing a cog walk into Toon Hall, turning it into a massive cog building that nobody there thought they were strong enough to take on. I use to have a lot of Toontown related dreams, funnily enough I've dreamed about there being a ten story cog building where it takes either people in one big elevator & inside, people split up onto the two sides & the amount of floors taken depended on which side went faster & the tenth floor was on the roof, everyone met for that. I thought it was funny that there's cog buildings with the last floor being on the roof in TTCC since I had that in a dream before. I've also had dreams about the factory expanding & becoming much harder so it became nearly impossible to pass Daisy Gardens. A lot of my dreams are things that I don't know if I'd want to see but when I see or hear something mentioned about Toontown going in the direction of what I've dreamed about, I wonder if others have had similar dreams.

You know how when you try to enter a building a Cog is in the process of taking over, you see the warning "Careful! There's a Cog in there!"? I can imagine there being an option to "Go In Anyway" so you can try to prevent the Cog from taking it over.The interior would have the texture of the first floor of a building (Because they were starting to take it over) and the shopkeep kinda chilling (or perpetually scared) in the corner while the toon(s) does battle. Victory not only reverts it to the normal interior, but earns you either beans or a low-level SOS (akin to FOs.)(Or in the case of major characters, an SOS that is 1 star lower than what they'd be normally.)

I could have sworn, when I was younger, that Cogs were somehow spawning in TTC. For some reason, they were all Backstabbers or other high level Lawbots. It was, very confusing but I could have sworn it happened...

I thought up this idea before even watching this video. I was thinking of a Toontown server called "Tooncapture," where every playground area has been captured by cogs, and you try to take back the land, or maybe even find new land.

I think it'd be a cool idea if the cogs could take over each playground, and normally it'd be like a cog HQ (cogs just walking around, and all the other buildings would just be there for astettic) but whenever they take over a playground, they capture the HQ there. The HQ building becomes a HUGE elevator that can hold up to 16 toons. when you go in, it puts you in an underground sewer sections (Utilising the sewer covers finally) where the toons are split up into four groups. Each group explores their section of sewer tunnels and has different challenges depending on what section you get. You make your way down underground until eventually you reach a room with a couple cogs and the Toon HQ officers being held captive. This final room could have the boss cog of whatever type of cog took over the playground, and even though they're different types of bosses, you'd defeat whatever boss it is in a new unique way. Once you do that the HQ is restored and the playground starts going toony again!

This would really work if you also implement the guild system. Multiple guilds can compete based on their participation in the cog invasion. Rewards have to be, well rewarding and lets consider that this would probably be an end game event (or close to it) so the rewards have to reflect based on it.

I have a theory/suggestion. Since fluffy, flippy's doodle, is the cause of silliness, then is a cog animal the cause of not fun? It might be. If this is true, there could be a quest where you have to go to Petbot hq, the new cog hq that was found, and beat a robot animal( I don't know what it is yet ). After that, you can take back the street. There might be multiple with different animals, and when you beat them you unlock something new. You would get rewarded for more since your freeing streets. level 20 cogs anyone? I'd enjoy higher level cogs that could come out of the construction zone if we're to be a thing. the big buildings could be like mini DA Offices or like mini Mints etc. and make a system that decides the cog levels in buildings by gags like making a variable with leveled gags for example if someone had 3 max gags and nothing else the variable would be 21 then add the total for all 4 toons and find the average. Scenario 1: Let's say we go with 4 people, person 1 has 4 maxed gags and level 5 toon up, person 2 has all maxed gags, person 3 has 3 maxed gags and nothing else (like an Uber) person 4 has 5 maxed gags and level 6 trap the average would be 106.25 which can be used in a variety of ways such as... If (avg gag) >=100 give cogs around lvl 10, 11, 12 ElIf (avg gag) >=75 give cogs around 9,10,11 ElIf (avg gag) >= 40 give cogs around 7,8,9 ElIf (avg gag)

chlorichades same, every toontown server I've been on always had problems with it, whether it be lack of content, easily hacked, or toxic communities. Although we probably couldn't 100% fix the toxic communities, we already had a group that would be good for moderation, it was only like 5 but hey, our population would probably be 1. I had a whole page of actual new content, such as new field offices, a whole new storyline, and even a lead into a possible PvP (don't ask for details about this, you aren't gonna get them in case I ever can do it). You could even become a resistance ranger sort of thing if you put in hard work in order to capture the cog HQ's. You could only capture one every 2-3 months but you would get a whole ton of rewards (it would be like you went into a VP and got every toon once, get one of every unite, get one of every single cog summon, and 35 fires), there would be a trolley there that could give you a small amount of merits, cogbucks, etc. anywhere from 2-6 times gag xp depending on the amount of effort you put in. Cog facilities and bosses would still be there but incredibley nerfed although still giving the same reward. And if you defeated a certain amount of cog facilities, you could get a level 8 gag, it can only be used if anyone on your team is at the risk of going sad.
