Putting Odyssey above the entire Ezio trilogy has to be criminal lol Ezio’s games captured the essence of a true Assassin/Mentor role more than any other game in the series and has arguably one of the best video game protagonists ever.. No other AC storyline tops Revelations.

Plus ezio isn't a true assassin since he makes mistakes like for a big example sparing the target which is rodrigo borgia and look at how that backfired or maybe when ezio in revelations is pretty much tired of being an assassin and have ezio cause a bomb on the city which caused the innocents to die slowly by the smoke/fire. You probably don't know this as most of the assassin's creed community don't elsewell but Assassin's Creed isn't black vs white like, assassin's=good and Templar=bad.

Yes he was fatigued from the life of an assassin by Revelations, but he still respected their ideals and even went out of his way to help a chinese assassin understand their ideals to lead her brotherhood better before his death. He spared Rodrigo, but that was a sign of maturity and him realizing that being an assassin isn’t just about vengeance. He spared him because he was no longer a threat, as opposed to Cesare who he did kill because he knew Cesare would continue to be a threat as a Templar. Furthermore, he established and developed both brotherhoods in Rome and Constantinople and continued to oppose the templars his entire life and even went out his way to understand the history of one of the pioneers of the brotherhood Altair. I’d argue that he’s done more than enough to be considered a true assassin.

Hey, I've been replaying the game on pc. It has amazing graphics. But it has a lot of problems. Cutscenes can be buggy and the parkour is clunky. But the thing that bugs me is that the story could have been a lot more better and interesting if it was longer. If ubisoft waited to perfect Assassin's creed Unity until 2015 or 2016, it could have been one of the greatest ac games ever

Uhmm... where's AC3? It'll remain my favourite Assassin's Creed game (probably biased given it was my first AC-game). The game itself was not the best gameplay-wise, but the Templars (father) vs Assassins (son) dynamic is the best of the franchise. Assassin creed odyssey timeline wise comes first. Assassin and templers never existed back then so they used that to introduce of how the templars was going to be formed which were the cult of kosmos and order of the anicents in that era which changed overtime. It is an ac game introducing what the assassin and templars were going to be. Origins is where the assassins were truly formed. My top 5 5 : Black Flag 4 : Assasins Creed 1 3 : Brotherhood 2 : Assasins Creed 2 1 : AC Revelations Revelations was just a well deserved and kinda Cliffhanger Ending game which was continue with one of the Short Films but alone the Locations like Masyaf or Konstantiople ( Istanbul, Turkey ) are just legendary and Beautiful and fitting to the soundtrack like the Hidden Blade in a Templars Body
