1/3 were good. 2 was made by a different studio in a now obsolete game engine, 2 was absolutely horrible and the modeling was atrocious.

I can only imagine if Scarface would have become a series it could have been a strong GTA competitor,similar to the first Saints Row games. It would have been awesome to have massive open world maps in countries from Central and South America and the Caribbean, building empires, doing millions from drugs transports in different ways like from a plane,heli or boats,submarines etc...fighting rival gangs for turf and respect, having different side quests and collectibles on the map and so on, unfortunately I dont think that this dream would ever become true, but I would definitely pay for such games, even for DLCs if they are good enough

Bro you're so right...scarface is a masterpiece...i played when i was younger on ps2...fifteen years after that i have it on my PC...gameplay story everything is on point...now a modern remake like mafia 1 would be amazing and could launch a new series❤...all these work to build back the empire is incredible 🎉

You describe Scarface totally wrong. It starts where the movie ended in an alternate universe. He turns around and kills the guy instead of getting shot with the shotgun, and then the game is him rebuilding his empire.

The original mafia had a unique graphics and feeling that made it a gem in videogame history. This new garbage looks like every other game honestly. Mafia was sonething else, no mission was the same, gameplay was way ahead of its time, unlike GTA series, you could actually drive normally in mafia without crashing, thanks to both realistic physics and good ai. Gunplay felt good for its time and it all felt like an immersive linear experience with unique graphics and engibe, and story line and characters that were movie worthy. Original Czech version had an unforgetable voiceacting made by actors who made this game a cult classic in the country. Remake doesnt do this game justice, its not an improvement, its a downgrade

I love Mafia 1 and 2 the one thing I gotta complain about them is why couldn't they have free roam attached to the story especially Mafia 2 for fucks sake they have a customization for the cars!! The Godfather games were great! The last godfather they ever made was one of the funnest 100% games I ever completed. Xbox 360 probably had the best generation of games to ever release 🥲
