Steven Arcand not all pets have the same attack speed in classic. Cats go anywhere from 1.0-2.0

actually, the rarest pets in the game for hunters are the low lvl mobs in starting zones with no high lvl equvivalent. For example snow leopards (obtainable at lvl 8). People tame then and then discard them in favour of some other pet such as Bangalash.. only problem is Bangalash isn´t a unique model, whilst the snow leopard only exists in one location in WoW and only at a really low lvl range making them elusive and ignored by most hunters who can´t be arsed to travel all the way there to tame them.. especially the Juvenile snow leopard which has the 1.5 atk speed. There are some bright yellow boars too and lastly the white wolfs who are equally rare at lvl 60. Old Cliff Jumper is indeed a unique model just like Humar the pridelord. Problem with these two is that OCJ can be tamed at 60 and fairly easily lvled up, Humar is super common as it is among lvl 60s specifically for his looks and reputation. He´s no rarer than your regular brokentooth (which should be a rare one but aint).

There are crabs in the swamp of sorrows that spawn as a different color variant every time you summon them. I never found anyone else with this glitch and can confirm other players do see what you see

I remember during TBC in northend .... I tamed a worgen that turned into a black wolf.... But when you tamed it , turns back into a worgen.... Need to say after i ran around Dalaran for week or two with it.... Blizzard took it away from me.

The white lion only appears after a quest. You’d have to have a horde player help you get it.

@@Carnidoom Attack speed doesn't really affect overall damage though. Not unless you go for something like frenzy in the skill tree but that's way later in the game.

Eechyachee and Humar were always the 1st 2 I went after soon as i could tame. If you get a friend horde side you can get them both as alliance very easily

Your pet will lvl to your lvl eventually, if you like what you have keep it, it'll catch up

I recommend buying am extra slot at the stable master for 5silver and catching a lot of pets so you can unlock different moves for your pets. Different pets carry more powerful moves and you can only learn some through catching different animals. :)

I say the Rotting Agam'ar from Razorfen Kraul is special as it looks like its wearing Armour its the only Black boar-like it and there is a brown and grey one from Razorfen Kraul also, There elites only from that run, but I feel the black looks the coolest,..

Lupos or first wolf howler from AV are a nice looking pet. Also Old Cliff Jumper in hinterlands only wolf of its kind as well. Looks good with horde dire wolf mount.

Yes, I agree there only from that run and look really cool I have the black one on my hunter and its the only one I have seen so far in use,.. So kind of rare as a hunter pet, and strange why no one else has gone and tamed it.

Takk the Leaper is a rare spawn. NOT a quest/summoned spawn. Ishamuhale IS a RED raptor quest spawn. The white lion is Echeyakee, wo is a quest mob and difficult for alliance players to get. *sigh*

Lotta folks clammering on about that Ghost saber, most often Spirit beats will not appear on these lists cause their just that Spirit beats. These listed here are just roaming around animals with a rare color morph or it being a rare version of the mob.
