Y’all know that “natural wines” actually have nothing to do with being organic. It’s a term thrown around and misused but as an actual certified wine expert with a PhD in wine I do know that the industry standard for what “natural” wine actually is just means that the wine was made using its native yeast and not the standard saccharomyces cerevisiae that we inoculate all wine with so that it can actually make good wine. Trust me, most natural wines taste horrible due to the native yeast producing horrible off aromas and flavors of sweat, barnyard, and rotten eggs not to mention it won’t get to a very high alcohol leaving it unprotected and likely to go off anyways in bottle. I just don’t like the false marketing that confuse people on what natural wine really is.

Bobby, I'm concerned about the class action lawsuit against Kerrygold for PFAS packaging. Are you now strictly Kirkland Sig grass fed butter? Banza chickpea pasta has now tested positive for high levels of glyphosate. It's frustrating trying to eat clean and then seeing these articles in the news over and over. Please let us know what you think.
@soulswork1111
@soulswork1111 2 күн бұрын
Yes I was so disappointed to hear abt Banza. Who can we trust anymore? Also, I think kerrygold is only addressing the PFA’s in the 11 states that have regulations regarding PFA’s. The rest of us get PFA packaging. Honestly PFA’s are prob in everything… maybe even the plastic bag those burgers are in? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Would also like Bobby’s opinion…

Regarding Costco berries, especially the strawberries, I completely agree. Their strawberries they sell don't usually have much flavor and even more so are often past their prime and even moldy. Or you think you have a decent container only to get home and find a moldy one in the middle. You're not getting your money's worth when you have to throw a third out right after getting home because they have gone bad.

Bobby make your own hummus. So easy takes 5 mins and is so much tastier than any brand! 1 regular size can of chick peas drain and save liquid to use if needed ( called now Aquafaba and you can make vegan egg whites out of) 1-2 tsp cumin 4 Tbs tahini 1 fresh garlic clove 2 tbs olive oil Lemon juice to taste Blend in food processor if way to thick add a little at a time liquid from can. So easy, so much tastier than any store bought brand. I like mine with plenty of lemon. I also make a little thinner since it get thicker in fridge. Add Olive oil and zatar or other flavors on top to your liking. Also you can add roasted red pepper of olives what ever lavors you like when making and never have to read another hummus label again!!! Take about 5 mins to make. I’ve been making it since I’m 9 and now 61. So easy!

Berries have been flavorless for the most part for decades.
@reneeredding4861
@reneeredding4861 8 күн бұрын
One of the reasons the berries have no flavor is they are in cold storage for too long and lose their sweetness. I have a family member who works for Driscoll Berries and when they bring berries home they are sweet and delicious. I was told that the best berries come from Whole Foods. They have a policy to not hold the berries in storage for more then a few days so they are still sweet. Also, look for berries that are red all the way to the top under the leaves they will be the sweetest. the pack you showed had some that were green at the top.

Why are there haters in the comment section? I appreciate his reviews. Some items don’t taste good like keto stuff but there are also a lot of really yummy recommendations I would never try if it wasn’t for Bobby. I like that I can eat something and feel good after eating it. I like the Siete chips, the coconut rolls, avocado and grape-seed oil, and yes the candy grapes are almost too sweet. I don’t like the avocado spray, the spray can is wacky and sprays unevenly, hate it, but I like the taste of anything with avocado oil. Thanks Bobby for opening us up to a whole new world of food😊.

Does anyone else who has purchased the Chosen spray avocado oil in the last month or so feel that the bottle's spout is different? It used to spray a finer mist that was very directed -- now, not so much. It is no longer a nice mist. Too much comes out and it spreads out more, which can be dangerous if spraying over a lit pan on the stove.

I bought a reusable glass cooking oil squirt bottle from Amazon and fill it with avocado oil. I dont trust the propellents used in those pressurized cans. I think if petroleum based propellant is less than 1% of contents they dont have to list it on ingredients. Its just my tin foil hat but how do they make it squirt if no propellant ? Why isnt it listed?

I was shocked when I read that canola oil is actually higher in Omega-3 than any other seed oil. So I really avoid seed oils but very occasionally if I can find organic canola oil like in a mayonnaise I will eat that. I know canola is still a GMO It's a GMO of rape seed because rapeseed tasted disgusting. So canola oil cannot be non-GMO! That's what I've learned and research has shown me. I don't find that the Costco grass-fed burgers are inedible. Maybe he's totally overcooking them. But we all know grass-fed beef is tougher than meet that's raised with grains. But hey it's really important to me to not eat omega-6 Rich meats. I'll take tougher omega-3 meets anytime!
