This is the reason I love this channel so much. You're not a snob when it comes to these Chinese watches, unlike most of the watch channels on KZbin, or in the watch community at large. This might just be me, and others might not agree, but I really think this is what makes this channel so unique, as well as your style of reviewing, which again in my opinion is more relaxed and therefore more accessible to people starting out watch collecting. I already have most of these watches, and I'm expecting to receive the Ruimas any day now. So thank you for doing a quick review of that one, as I couldn't find any video of it anywhere. Jody...can't believe that I own 7 out of the 10 watches you just reviewed. Hard to pick favorites, but love my C1032, Guanqin "Conquest" and Ruimas Flieger (guess I should throw in the Hi-Beat StarKing as well)! The Cadisen c1032 is no joke. I honestly thought Jodi hit the lottery when he got a super accurate c1032 but mine is hitting +0.5 sec a day when wound.

The cadisen longines conquest homage is a hell of a watch! Bought it several months ago when you reviewed it and have been wearing it this whole week with a nato and I am amazed by its accuracy and specs. Never took it off, even for bathing and no issues, 11 secs a day, pretty good! A true gem! Keep up these videos so we can get more watches that can fly under the wife’s radar! Makes you think about spending more on Japanese or swiss pieces if you get a decent case and an excellent miyota or SII movement.

Which one is better? the Guanqin GJ16034 with "saphire" and the doubt about getting Seiko nh36 or myota 8215 movement ? or the Cadisen 1020 "portofino" with seiko nh36 for sure and a normal mineral glass? im from italy and at the moment i can buy the guanqin fon 46€ and the cadisen for 40€ what would u recomend?

I picked up the Cadisen C1032 in black just recently and popped it onto a nice black leather strap. It looks great and is so light that I barely notice that it's there. It's a great watch for the money.

Jody, I can't believe you mentioned the Cadisen Diamond, I'm in love with that watch! I have a JBW rookie instead and I still like the Cadisen more and the JBW Rookie is a $300 watch and that Cadisen is $170 with a Saphire crystal, it's just insane dude! The movement is also amazing, automatic, and display back... OMG. I don't know how the Chinese can pull that off, it just ridiculizes a bunch of brands out there! It's nice to see a watch channel that's refreshingly honest. The watches here are good values. Even with the often non-existent Chinese quality control, some brands have high standards. There are high range, mid range and low end watches

Great info Jody, I picked up the Guanqin silver dial based on your video. I know all your reviews here were automatic movments, but if you get a chance take a look at the Aesop quartz model 8848G. It has a sapphire crystal, all stainless 39mm case, nice butterfly bracelet, day/date/month complications, and actual 30 day moonphase display. It is only running a little over $22 U.S. dollars on 11/11. Punches way above price point!

Update - well I persevered and eventually managed to place an order on 10th November. The watch was delivered today, (17th November) so that is one week from China to UK. Unbelievable. To make this an even better, not to say incredible deal the discount was $15 which brought the net down to $39.19 which is £30.52 UK Pounds - delivered. £30.52 for a Miyota movement with a sapphire crystal and a very decent leather strap is absolutely staggering. The watch is beautiful and being less than 40mm I can get away with it. I am over the harpoon. Jody - many, many thanks for this and for all your hard work. Tip o' the hat to you Sir.

You just can't go wrong with that Cadisen C1032, it's amazing.I bought one and it arrived a week ago.I'm literally stunned by how nice it looks and how well it's made, no wonder Jody placed it at #1.Not to mention that I bought mine for the measly $34..... Second I would put the Starking, got this one too, it's very good, but the dial is a bit plain, nothing bad in that, but I prefer something more decorated.Got that for 28 bucks on the bracelet, but even $43 you wont go wrong on it. And solid 3rd place is the Cadisen witht he diamond on the dial.It's a great watch, probably the best of them all on this list, BUT it's pricey, which is the only thing holding it back, since you're buying a Cadisen after all and 130 bucks is a bit steep.Other than that, if you don't mind spending that amount, GO FOR IT, you won't regret it.

Unlikely I’ll ever see the Guanqin Nomos Lamda “homage/ripoff”, I ordered from Gearbest last April. In fairness though, I’m very pleased with the two Cadisens and a Guanqin that I did receive from Gearbest. As Jody has pointed out, they are exceptionally good watches for the price. Thank you Jody.

I've just received my first Chinese special in the Quanqin 'Lambda'. I love it. It's a bit noisy, and the rotor spins if I blink but I can't think of a watch this cheap with a power reserve display. There's something about getting a perceived bargain that means I can happily spend a ridiculous amount on a watch and at the same time spend a fifty on a Quanqin and get the same excitement.
