Guess their taste buds are weird. Zesty kind of reminded me of the food critic in Ratatouille. Maybe that's where MLP writers got the idea for her from.

I always thought that the food the Canterlot ponies were forced to serve because of Zesty Gourmand (hopefully that’s correct) looked kinda tasty, but I know the whole moral of that episode was that ponies should be able to have their own uniqueness to their cuisine instead of the same trending thing 😊
