@@Frostbite_Unturned Become ethereal is a good choice too. Unlike it's description it doesn't prevent you from dealing damage. Dealing damage cancels the invincibility effect. Meaning you can cast it's first level then start casting master spells and use the no damage period to get it charged. Used to use it with the lightning master spell

Just for the record telekinesis does in fact have a use in battle. When fighting bandits they will fight over dropped weapons. If you happen to have a weapon in your inventory you can throw it with the spell and let them kill each other for it.

I love playing a necromancer, I wish more RPGs made it possible to do so. Dead Thrall was my favorite thing about Skyrim. I had two really powerful necromancers that I made into thralls. They followed me around through the whole game carrying my excess baggage. When I needed my loot or wanted to add to the pile they were carrying, I'd just stealth kill them, fiddle with their inventory, and res them again. Well at least until I discovered to my horror that they ceased to exist when you travel to Solstheim. I immediately re-loaded a previous save, put off the Dragonborn dlc till last, then when the time came to go, I turned my house in Windhelm into a memorial tomb for them, lead them into the bedroom, put them painlessly down with one hit, and laid them on the bed to de-spawn in peace. R.I.P. my undead pals, you were a way more useful walking storage trunk than Lydia will ever be.

it's a pain in the ass to have to drop every silver ore you transmute so it doesn't become gold though. if you're trying to get rid of certain gemstones through crafting, then you need strictly silver ore in a lot of cases. I wish there were 2 separate spells, one for each transition. a lower level transmute spell could turn iron ore to silver ore, and then a higher difficulty spell could turn silver ore into gold ore. then if you want to turn iron to gold, just put one on each hand. if you want silver for certain gemstone jewelery, then use the first level spell.

Telekinesis has no use as far as combat, but, beyond shenanigans, you can use it to level up Alteration really quickly. If you get Secret of Arcana from the "Filament and Filigree" Black Book, you can cast Telekinesis for no Magicka cost, and, so long as you never let go of the trigger/button, it will never cost any Magicka until you stop casting it. Because Telekinesis levels Alteration really fast, you can use this technique to go from level 15 to level 100 Alteration in about 10-20 minutes.

Part of the problem is the skyrim physics damage calculations are terrible. Getting stuck in a pot deals more damage than a trap. The reason is velocity doesn't affect damage from collision, only mass. So getting stuck in a pot at just barely the damaging threshold deals full damage repeatedly, while getting hit with a pot going at literally lightspeed would do the same damage once. The "Physics Impact Damage Fix" by flexcreator on nexus fixes this, while also making traps more dangerous (which is probably why it was disabled).

+Nitron DSP I know, its lretty much a must for most master spells. But like the person above said, the vanilla version makes you stand you in place and if you get hit it interrupts the spell. Plus on master and legendary it doesn't do that much damage and unlike lower spells that stagger enemies when dual cast it doesn't. Plus its hard to see what you're even aiming at. For all of those reason imo it sucks, ymmv.

damage from blizzard is reduced based on your own magic resist and frost resist. if both are high/max, it will have next to no effect on enemies or friends. it is still fun to walk into a place like breezehome( otherwise unoccupied) and blast it off a number of times so everything flies around. afterward you may want to revert back to the previous state.

Hope you enjoy, as this took two damn hours to write. The Jack of All Trades. (Modded) The Jack of All Trades is a fresh faced young wood elf seeking glory in the land of Skyrim after leading a privileged life that allowed him to learn many things. The Jack of All Trades is well rounded character who doesn't just excel at one skill, but is proficient in many skills, and he wants to use them to help the people of Skyrim with an open mind and heart... But at what cost? The Jack of All Trades is a wood elf from Grand Tree in Valenwood. And will take advantage of the lover stone to start with, and then will eventually graduate to one of two stones: The Lord or the Lady, depending on which you value more; regeneration or defense. The main skills for the Jack of All Trades are Two Handed, Archery and Restoration, with minor skills in Light Armor, Enchanting and Smithing. Obviously it's a well rounded build that is going to take plenty of time to complete, but if you're patient, this character will come full circle and end up being incredibly balanced and prepared for any situation he will find himself in. Now we get to the backstory: The Jack of All Trades was born in Grand Tree to a Huntress mother and a smith father, both of whom met many people and made many friends due to their central location. The two were incredibly skilled at their work and business was always booming. His mother knew how to cut the most from any kill she made and his father knew how to craft remarkable weapons, like great-swords that weighed half of what they normally should. These techniques were passed onto the Jack of All Trades. The boy was very curious as a child, always wanting to learn more and was blessed with a sharp mind, a pure heart, and good looks to boot. The boy got the same experience his parents did but from a younger age: He met many different kinds of people who were traveling through Grandtree, strangers that sought his parents goods, old friends, warriors, priests and mages. The boy grew up knowing no hate for anyone and with the idea that everyone should have a chance to be a good person. Luckily, this meant the boy was open to teachings from these people. His father taught him basic smithing while his mother taught him to hunt. Mages and priests who came through showed the boy healing magics and enchanting. Warriors taught the boy proper sword techniques, all of which he learned with gusto. He also discovered there was little he wasn't good at, whether it was studying, training, working or charming the local boy's and girls in the village. He was an open minded kid. As he grew older, the people he knew would always return, but they also always left, only to return to tell him of the great lands he could only see in his dreams. He imagined seas of sand, icy coasts of endless water, mountains with snow caps that stretched into the clouds, and on his 18th birthday, he decided he was tired of waiting for the world to come to him. With the help of his father, he crafted a beautiful bow, a quiver of arrows, an Elven great sword and a Green good for the journey. His parents knew he could care for himself and with a heartfelt goodbye, the Jack of All Trades set out to see the world. Over the next 5 years, the boy would travel the world, learning as much as he could from people, doing various odd jobs for people, no matter who they were, and making friends across Hammerfell, Elsweyr, Daggerfall, and Cyrodil. Upon reaching the Imperial City, the boy finally hears about the conflicts in Skyrim. Motivated by the thought that people up there defiantly could use his help, he packs up his few possessions and heads towards the providence. From there he is captured on the border, and carted to Helgen. From here you know the story. After escaping with the Stormcloaks, the boy will be quite Distraught, as he no longer has the items he worked so hard to keep. But when he makes it to river wood with nothing but a longbow and iron great sword, this will not last long. He knew that a few kind deeds would go a long way and a little hard work wouldn't hurt him. Plus, he had plenty of skills to help him. He will work around riverwood, getting steel ingots, hunting animals for pelts, and chopping firewood This is where the mods come in. The Mods that are Absolutely necessary for this build are the Ranger, Paladin and Mercenary Armor Mods. These mods will grant you the needed weapons and armor for this build. Essentially, they reskin several weapons and armors to do more damage while retaining the desired Aesthetic. I also recommend getting the Forgotten Dungeons and Extra Bandit Camps, as it adds a lot of extra spots for the Jack of All Trades to train in, but these are not at all needed and simply make the experience more fun and make Skyrim more lively. Roleplaying for this character is quite simple. Your character is out to help people and make as many friends as possible. There is no job too demeaning, and no quest you cannot undertake. You want to experience as much of Skyrim as you can. You was to see everything people can offer. Always try to be nice, even to those who aren't nice to you. Give money to the poor, use money to persuade people, and try to resolve disputes peacefully. But if someone won't listen, do not fear drawing your weapon and slaying them. The Rangers play style is simple, when enemies are engaged, you'll draw your bow and fire, taking out as many enemies as you can before they get too close, then you switch to the sword and slice down whoever remains. If a fight gets too challenging, quickly get to safety and cast Restoration Magic. Use Quick Healing, and healing hands/heal other if you have a companion. You would never want to see a friend die. The factions for this build are incredibly different then others, as all of them are open to the Jack of All Trades. Even the 'Evil' ones. Remember: He's seeking a view of all people of Skyrim. He needs to keep an open mind to the many different backgrounds. It is Recommended you play in this order for the experience: Travel and meet the Jarls, become Thane in as many places as possible. Then Companions, Dawnguard, College of Winterhold, Main Quest, Dragonborn, Civil War, Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood. By the time he reaches the college, Dragons should be a pain in the ass. He will begin the Main Story, meeting the Cultists, and after Alduin is slain, he will travel to Sohlstiem. Upon his return, he will see the Civil War has escalated and he will side with the Imperials, upon discovering Ulfric Stormcloaks true nature. Companions can be anyone. I personally recommend you use your favorite. Vorstag and Janessa make great choices, for companion or spouse. The gear comes solely from the mods. You will get those materials at the beginning, leather, steel and firewood, and Craft the Mercenary Bow, mercenary Greatsword and Mercenary Advanced Arrows. For Armor, You will use the Green Paladins Mantle for a good, the Rangers Green Outfit, and the Rangers Brown Gloves and Boots. It gives an amazing Aesthetic that really makes you feel that Elven Ranger vibe this build gives off. Plus, it gives you a hunting bow and steel greatsword but with much higher damage rates, and faster attacks. Eventually, you'll craft the Legendary Paladin Greatsword and craft a Blessed Crossbow to match. Enchant your armor with Fortify Restoration, Two Handed and Archery to boost your primary Skills. Use a Gold And Emerald Necklace and ring for Jewelery, and if you have the Circlets with Hoods Mod, same with the circlet. Thank you. Here's another tip for the Death Thrall 100 conjuration spell, get the twin soul perk so you can have two undead. Then when you do Azura's Star quest and enter the star, you can use it on those Daedra who constantly use fireball on you. They'll obliterate any foe instantly at long range for you. You can also use enchanting to achieve 100% cost reduction on destruction spells, once you reach the appropriate enchant level and perks. Imagine all the fun you can have with Lightning Storm when it costs absolutely nothing.

Love how he says slog through when conjuration is the second easiest skill to level. You can soul trap a dead body multiple times with the mage stone standing stone perk and quickly level conjuration to 100 in about 20 minutes. Sneak is the easiest you can hit ralof or hadvar in the keep next to the bear while sneaking to quickly level it up in about 5 mins.

One of my favourite playthroughs of Skyrim involved an Illusion character with sneaking skills that specialized in Frenzy. It was fun to occasionally save, then cast Frenzy, and watch everyone try to kill everyone else whilst you just stood out of the way with them unaware you were even there.

chain lightning is one of my personal favs. load up your gear with destruction casting cost discounts and magicka boosts and you can rapid fire a chain on each hand and wipe out a large room full of draugr in 3 seconds or less. what draugr you miss in 2 seconds can sometimes be killed by the third because they get damaged by the debris from the impact of multiple chains against the bones and other flotsam and corpses that happen to be laying around in the room at the time. if you charge one in each hand you can let them both go at once, and the game que's them, so whatever get's killed by the first chain get's launched away by the impact of the second- if you want to see what a rabbit looks like in the sky, just aim both chains at a lower level to the bunny and let it rip. same with deer and pretty much anything else. a couple of times i've zapped an enemy like that and launched him up so his head goes OB and he hangs there like a macabre door drape.

You don't need telekinesis to pick up an item, carry it to a hidden location to steal it as you can pick up and move an item just by not releasing the activate button or key, the differences are that you won't accidentally pick it up with the spell and the spell eventually uses all your magicka then throws the item when you run out of magicka. The most useful part of telekinesis is that when you have it equipped, the name of any item you are looking at is displayed on your HUD hence you can look around and see what's in the room without moving about to search the room. What I would like to see in a telekinesis mod is to allow activate so you could pull levers, pull chains and push buttons with it unfortunately no such mod exists.

BestKill68 Thrown potatoes through telekinesis basically just agros the NPC that you hit and gets you an assault bounty, any damage if any is minimal unless you install a mod to increase the damage. Of there is a small percentage chance of two NPC's attacking each other over anything that you drop between them and that has nothing to do with telekinesis. Besides, I was just saying that you didn't need telekinesis to creatively steal objects in the fashion that he was showing on the video.

Honestly I'm good enough on my thief to not need Telekinesis to steal either. However, on both Skyrim and Oblivion I always used it to get to things to far away to reach by hand, or behind obstacles etc.

I would say that bound bow is a very useful spell because it falls in 2 category's conjureation and archery so if you use the bow it levels up both and you can increase its power useing both skill trees, and having all the arrows you need is very useful. (I use that spell as a main for weapons)

I recommend taking up enchanting and enchanting 4 items so that they cost 25% less to cast each. if you can't math 25 is a quarter, 4 quarters make a whole which means free spell casting in whatever area of magic you want. really useful for lighting storm

Or necromage vampire and craft your gear under the effects of an enchanter's elixir. If you can get the bonus to 28%, necromage will make it so you can hit 100% reduction with three pieces of equipment. That with dual enchantment and wearing a circlet+falmer helm means you can get three schools of magic down to free with room to spare.

Races to choose bretons: 25 resist magic dark elves: 50% resist fire high elves: extra 50 Magicka nords: 50% resist cold Parameters Every 3 levels should be like thus: 1magicka, 1magicka, 1 health Skills You can level your destruction to 75 and be good as master spells are too cumbersome and aren't worth the time to charge (except lightning storm for distant enemies) Alteration has the most useful perks and a good set of damage reducing spells. paralysis is also incredibly useful. illusion only has one perk useful to destruction fire magic oddly enough (unless patched) the whole tree is pretty much needed to be useful as enemies level with you, making illusion spells somewhat weaker over time (same with destruction) getting to about skill 50 is okay. Enchanting is by far the most useful tree, however the right side perks are useless to a pure mage. Restoration magic is also useful to you, but it's effectiveness caps at 75 lastly conjuration. You NEED this as your health will be disproportionate to your magicka pool. Having an instant ally on top of a follower will save you. Don't bother with center right perks dealing with summoned weapons. that's what fire and lightning is for silly. Gear No swords, no armor. Robes, hoods, unarmored leather gloves, unarmored boots, ring and necklace. enchanting is your best friend, as are wards and armored flesh spells. ample supply of potions as well (sadly not a magic skill anymore) visit college to learn anything you can and have a place to practice your craft. hope it helps.

I usually cast mayhem on foes, or sometimes frenzy just on the tougher one and I watch how he gets rid from the others while I'm invisible :) summon dremora lord is really useful too and I cast rally on them to make them tougher, alteration dragonskin is a great spell too and is very useful with low health characters.. those in the video are really fun to use and are amongst my favorite spells in the game, nice vid!

For me, Frenzy is a personal favorite. Run across a fortress overrun with bandits? Fire off a couple well placed frenzy spells, sit back and watch the fun begin (and clear the area at the same time for little effort). Also (at higher levels) find a giant camp and hit the mammoths with it.

For those wanting to use Frenzy on quest targets, be aware that casting Frenzy itself can and will be considered assault. But Bound Bow is a lot of fun indeed, not just for the obvious mage and/or archer build (provided the latter has enough MP to afford just one cast) but also for the perks available in the Conjuration tree -- you don't just have an ethereal Daedric bow and effectively unlimited arrows, but with the ability to add free Soul Trap, Fear, and/or Banish effects to every hit.

I really like using Illusion, Sneak, and Archery together when making a stealth character. I might just add conjuration to that list for the sake of Bound Bow and probably using two atronachs. Though I would love to see a build with those four skills in mind for a Ordinator's Perk Overhaul run. That could be crazy.

I'd give a short mention to the bound dagger alongside the bound bow, IF you are playing as an assassin/sneaky character and wear the gloves you get from the dark brotherhood You end up with a summoned dagger dealing 6 dmg as base, (10 with the conjuration upgrade) which scale with the 1handed weapon skill. AND with the appropriate sneak talent your daggers do 15x their damage in sneak attacks, which can be DOUBLED with the dark brotherhood shrouded gloves to 30x sneak damage! Quite nice to one hit all kinds of opponents just by sneaking up to them ^^ (FYI: bound dagger seems to be only obtainable by going to solstheim and buying the spell from the mage apprentice Talvas Fathryon in Tel Mythrin, which requires the SE or the dragonborn DLC)

Unmodded, my Skyrim Special Edition runs very poorly. There are some places that get as low as about 25 FPS because of the foliage density. I don't know why this is, my specs are listed below. Someone care to let me know if I'm missing something? I run it on the highest of graphics settings of course. 16 GB of RAM AMD FX-6300 hexa-core processor 3.5 GHz (overclocked at 4.1 GHz) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti If you need more specs, let me know. Hey man, I had the same problem. Check which graphic card Skyrim is using. I had exactly the same problem, it didn't let me choose the graphics card, it only used the "intel graphics" one, which is absolute shit. The problem is on the AMD software, so try updating it. Then try these steps: 1º) Go to Radeon settings, open the tab "Preferences" (I believe it is Preferences, I don't know exactly because the language here is in portuguese); 2º) Then, go to "Additional Radeon Configurations". After this, it will open another window; 3º) Go to "All applications" tab, there you should find Skyrim, and set it to what you wish (I set it to get better performance); 4º) After doing this you should be able to select the Graphic Card in the Skyrim configurations Panel. Hope this helps you, I had a shit-fucking ton of trouble trying to get this to work.

I made a mage archer build based on illusion, conjuration, archery, and sneak, it was very glass cannon but basically i would throw different spells at enemies to create chaos and kill off a vast majority of foes, sneak around and snipe away any enemies with bound bow, skulked around with invisibility, sometimes summoned allies or raised zombies and robbed places pretty interestingly

Fenriks welcome which comes with a bunch of other spells and clothing in the creation club there is a ‘creation’ called arcane accessories. Essentially fenriks welcome opens up any door up to expert and lower. It also makes you invisible so if your bad at stealth you can open up a door without being seen with this adept spell that only costs around 50 to cast. It’s a pretty op illusion spell.

heres one great reason to use telekinesis, if you have 0 cost alteration magic through use of enchantments you can continuously use telekinesis indefinitely, whats the use of that you ask? well that spell still counts as being cast even while fast traveling meaning if you hold something with telekinesis and fast travel while doing it the game acts as if you brought that item through the whole journey easily maxing your alteration to 100 in just one fast travel trip depending on how far you went, then simply make it legendary and repeat for easy perk points
