To me it is.. and will always be.. Freddie Mercury. His voice, his abillity to make every single song written not by him, but either by Brian, John or Roger like he wrote it himself, his vocal range, his beautifull vibrato, his charisma, his diversity in genres, his interaction with the fans (I don't like to use crowd control, so therefor I went with : his interaction 😉), I could go on for so much longer, but I'll leave it with this. I mean..Live Aid (I forgot to mention that performance, even whilst that performance was against his doctor's advice to even perform at all), and ofcourse the Freddie Mercury Tribute'event ..that, to me, says it all. And let's not ever forget how he kept on singing so beautifull when he was almost at the end of his life.even (!!),his voice stayed spine chilling. Numero uno, without having to think twice. Sorry for me adding more reasons, but I think it was needed to remember that too. Note to myself ànd to all of you..imho, ofcourse. Differences of oppinions will always be there and rightfully so. ✌️💞

His voice was an amazing instrument and thing of beauty. along with his charisma, creativity, showmanship and sense of fun the man was one of a kind and an icon. I also feel that at #2, Robert Plant deserves to be one of the top. His voice range, his emotions and. his distinctive voice is something to remember and cherish. Listening to Plant sing Since I've Been Loving You is raw and emotional. Listening to Kashmir he takes you on a magic carpet ride through the distant lands.
