Today we are going over 10 hidden features of the 2023 Super Duty! Starting off the first thing is Auto fold in mirrors. Ford now has a feature you can turn on so your mirrors will fold in automatically when getting out of your car. When you are parking there is a very cool feature that you can turn on. When you turn on the rear view delay, you will still have those camera views on the screen when you have put the truck in drive. The third hidden feature is the global windows feature. When you have your keys and tap the remote button and then hold it down, the 2 front windows will roll down automatically. The next hidden feature we call the double honk. If your truck is running and you get out of it with the keys, it will honk 2 times, alerting you that your vehicle is still running. If you are not a fan of this feature do not worry! You can turn it on and off. The next feature is you can hold the power button for the volume and the right button at the same time and it will reboot your Sync 4 system. The next one is you can use the pad to type in your code, then press 5/6 and tailgate drops automatically! In the back seat of the Super Duty if you pull the lever on the seat, you will see the extra storage space as well as a bottle jack. If your battery dies, no need to worry. There is a feature that allows you to place your battery on the slot so that you can still start the vehicle.

Many of you may already know this but if you’re wondering how to disable your seat belt chime without FORSCAN this is the procedure. Turn ignition on (engine off), wait for airbag light to go off, plug and unplug seat belt 4 times in a row, seat belt light will start to flash, plug and unplug seat belt one more time and you’re done. It’s that simple (you must do it for each seat however you want to turn off the alarm to though). Of note, you should always wear your seatbelt when driving (since someone will inevitably make a comment on the safety of this feature.

Nice to see Ford watched what their customers have been doing and started offering the same thing. My 19' does all of this and has even more features. I used some software to turn off the double honk, turn on the folding mirrors, and pretty much anything else (fogs always on, any infotainment interaction regardless of speed, can't shift out of park without key, steering wheel temps etc etc). I use a aftermarket camera box to get turn signal mirrors and the ability to run the camers at any speed - lot nicer that the factory now does it out of the box :)

Great video for content, but many of these features were around since '17. The driver door keypad will do more than just lower the gate based on the sequence after the code. 22 vs 23+ SD will be what many of the repeat buyers are looking for IMO. Love your videos though, keep them coming!

I don't recommend using autofold in the cold. Unless you'd like your mirrors frozen closed. Also really if you get out frequently and lock the truck I would reccomend leaving it off to avoid wearing the motors.

Newer Lincolns have global close and you can enable it on most fords using forscan.

My 22 gas super duty had the under rear seat storage thing but the 23 diesel didnt come with it. Wonder what wasnt selected on ordering, i hate having to order trucks and not seeing them

I never once had to reset the SYNC system on my 1978 F-250. It also had a little place on the dash you could put the key to start the truck if the key didn't have a battery in it.

Any news on the F450 Limited build dates? I have one purchased and have received no news for months. Currently in Ukraine. Any information on when I should expect it to hit my dealership would be greatly appreciated. Trying to plan around returning for the build and delivery to operate our hot shotting business. Almost all of those are on my 2022 F-250 Lariat. Maybe the ignore keyfob/double honk isn't on it, but the rest are.

I just got my '23 F250 XLT Super Duty with various options including the sport appearance package & XLT "el grande" (ultimate) package, as well as the snow plow prep package. The latter gets the truck a strong inch from level due to measuring the height of the wheel wells. I really don't want to do any trimming but would consider a little plastic trimming on the trim piece on the fender liner & fender body. I have the same rims as I had on my '17 Black Rhino Warlords 17x9 -12 only now in the matt black with dark rim & I ran 35x12.50's all day long no issues what so ever. Not having that truck for references due to it's demise on black ice back in December I'm second guessing my thinking that 37x13.50's could be ran on that same set up. Any confirmation? I'm considering a 1" Skyjacker leveling block at the most. Any firsthand experience with yourself or others in the industry on my dalema?

Turning the mirror fold feature just makes those motors fail that much sooner. Unless Ford has figured out how to build their trucks with the reliability of a Lexus, I'd leave that feature OFF!!!

Most of these features are not present on the XL trim. The window thing is and the backup camera might be, but nothing else that I could tell.

I'm pretty sure every single one of those hidden features are described in the owner's manual. My 1996 crown vic would pop the trunk if you pressed 5/6 button, and unlock all the doors by pressing 3/4 button after entering the code. Also you can lock the doors with the keypad by pressing the 7/8 and 9/0 buttons at the same time. You could also program your own keypad code using the the key pad. I discovered all of that by reading the owner's manual.

Thank you my man for one of the most comprehensive and thorough reviews I hit the like button for you and subscribe now what I wanna know is this I’m probably going to get this in a couple of years used so it will be a little more affordable $65,000 new vs 52,000 for CLT. My question is this for those of you who own deliria do you find that the $12,000 bump price is worth it I could probably get a used XLT with 45,000 miles three years old 45,000 or I could get it used Lariat for 55000 . Vets can register their car for fee I. Nevada.s I do really like the leather seats and the fact that the lariat has a lot of luxuries and the XLT is just basic bare bones it really really feels like you’re driving a luxury car and I don’t need anything beyond that

It is hard to imagine that here in 2023, Ford introduced their new SD trucks with the new bar graph digital instrumentation. And yet, this exact same year, Lamborghini introduced their new Revuelto supercar showcasing their version of digital representation of analog gauges! Lamborghini has a intro video on this car and look at the end of the video where they show the instrument cluster! Brilliantly done. And yet, for a Ford, which costs almost 100 Gs, we get bar graph instruments!!! Unbelievable!!!
