Late Registration is the most overlooked hip hop album of all time. It's perfect. It has everything you would want in a hip hop album. Every song is just creative and unique. MBDTF is great but severely overrated. I think it falls a little short of being a classic.

Multiple great albums in the same year. Some albums wont be nowhere to be found because they might've been great for its year but when you compare to all albums of the decade they dont hold up. Analogy; you pick the best player from each NBA team, now if you pick the best 30 players from the NBA overall.. Some of those players you picked per team aren't gonna make it because there are teams with 2 or 3 guys that are better than the star(s) on another team.

Section.80 is good, but there's more than one album better that it that year IMHO. Undun is one of them... The Roots slept on. lol.

@@kaninesenses I used to think so too, and i'm a huge Kanye fan, but i think it was probably 2018 or maybe even early 2019 when I went back and listened to it, and for whatever reason it just clicked... 2013 though i didn't really see too many albums that I would have chosen over it... like maybe Because the Internet or RTJ, but idk, for me personally that album just aged beautifully as a timepiece of where Kanye was in his life at that time, and sonically it takes you on a different journey than any other album that year to me...
