As an asian, we really care about skin brightening. A lot of my skincare products contain the ingredients mentioned. These are what i've used. All of these are Korean products except The Ordinary. It's not i don't use western skincare at all, but when it comes to brightening product, it seems that asian skincare have more potent brightening ingredient 😅 I have tons of products that i have tried but i list down products that have the mentioned ingredients located at top 5 in their ingredient list. ... Vitamin C: Tia'm C Source Serum (Contain 20% L-ascorbic acid), Some By Mi Yuja Niacin Serum (Contain 82.3% Yuja fruit) Hydroquinone: Cos De Baha 2% Hydroquinone Brightening Serum. Kojic Acid: Cos De Baha 2% Hydroquinone Brightening Serum. Azelaic Acid: Cos De Baha 10% Azelaic Acid Serum. Vitamin A: The Ordinary Retinol. Salicylic Acid: Cosrx Blackhead Power Liquid (4% Natural BHA consists of willow bark water as the 1st ingredient and Betaine Salicylate as the 3rd), Cos De Baha Salacylic Acid BHA 4% Serum Licorice Root: Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner (This have 10% Licorice root extract as 2nd ingredient after water). Niacinamide: Tia'm 10% Niacinamide+2% Arbutin, The Ordinary 10% Niacinamide+1% Zinc. Sunscreen: Purito Centella Green Level Unscented ... The most powerful brightening product goes to Cos De Baha Hydroquinone Brightening Serum. This serum alone contains a lot of actives mainly for brightening which is 2% Hydroquinone, 4% Azelaic Acid, 4% Niacinamide, Kojic Acid, Salacylic Acid, Lactic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid. I used this for spot treatment and it works wonder😭 ... Sorry, most of them are unfamiliar to you, but i suggest you to try them since they are very cheap yet effective!!! If you don't know what to choose among the list, I suggest you to try Tia'm C Source Serum, Cos De Baha Hydroquinone Brightening Serum and Cos De Baha Azelaic Acid Serum. The Tia'm C Source Serum is for people who are familiar with vitamin C as it's too potent. Otherwise, i suggest you to try their niacinamide one as it did brightened my friend's face significantly while he has sensitive skin. Hope it helps whoever read this 😁

I started with their Spot cream that had 12% (yes, 12!) hydroquinone, kojic acid, and niacinamide, After seeing a slow improvement after a month, I decided to try the stronger formula because I typically can tolerate retinols. This one has 12% hydroquinone, 0.05% tretinoin. Three months in and my spots are almost all gone. I do experience some irritation around the eyes, so I will take a break after August. It will be 4 months of using the hydroquinone, and likely a good time to take a break.

I wish you were consistent in your views of vitamin C L ascorbic acid, you’ve made numerous videos panning vitamin c as a beneficial ingredient and then you include it on your list, if anything the skinceutical vitamin c serum is the one that is sold in oxidized form with a yellowish tinge as they make it in big batches and just let it sit.

I'm 43 and struggled with acne prone skin since high school. Also developed some Melasma in 2011 from being on birth control pills then went to the beach without sunblock on so I burned badly. UGGGH if I had a time machine!! This lady AKA me has tried high end products to cheap. I am loving the results from Timeless Vit C !! My current routine is face washing with Vanicream cleanser. Then apply Timeless Vit C. Let it dry a few minutes. then apply CeraVe PM lotion. If its night time I'm done! But in the AM I let the Cerva Ve absorb 5 minutes than put on tinted DRMTLGY moisturizer SPF. My skin is improving every day!! Now I know what people mean when they say "my skin is like glass". It means Smooth, tight and flawless. I am getting close! My young adult kids are starting to use these products. Lucky for them that they started early!

Lovely, brilliant doctor I adore you. I’m 77 and I’m blessed with a really good skin. Some of it is genes and some of it is skin care obsession. I’m of the generation that worship the sun. We slathered ourselves with baby oil and baked inside a makeshift aluminum oven on the beach. I have the sunspots to prove it. But rather than lament, I choose to use them to show younger people. What will happen if they don’t take care. Here in San Antonio tanned skin is coveted. Tanning beds abound. When I can, I show young people what will happen if they continue this practice. I’ve also had two pre-cancerous spots removed. But I am blessed in that I have long believed that the best make up is beautiful skin. At 77 I can still go out in public with no make up. I don’t do this by choice often but it is something I can do. I also tell young people the two most important things in skin care aren’t you never go to bed with a dirty face like with makeup on it and to not wear sunscreen. Always always clean your face before bed and always always wear sunscreen. As far as what products to use and what the routine should be skin care it can be as easy as cleansing, sunscreen, moisturizer at night. The important thing is consistency. If you do nothing else, I always clean your face at night and always wear sunscreen. Always.

I've been using the Timeless dupe for the Skinceuticals C & E Ferulic serum ($20 bucks) for post acne and it's working very well. Lots of people in the skincare community buy it exclusively instead of Skinceuticals. I'd give it a try instead, you'll save over $100. I had really bad cystic acne, lots of dark spots from it. My skins looking amazing now. Theirs is in a pump now instead of a dropper, I keep it in the fridge and it's still nice and clear. They also offer a 3 month guarantee so if it oxidizes they will replace it free of charge.
