Front loader, Backhoe, Tektite cab, York Rake... Love them all. I know the 270 Backhoe looks tiny, and when I first got it, I was timid with it's use, but I would never give it up! I was amazed at how powerful it actually was. Working with large rocks, the backhoe with the thumb is invaluable. With a bit of patience, it will even dig out a stubborn stump. It is a big investment, but, for me, worth every penny! Keep up the great work!

ALWAYS add the FEL... But when I use mine to mow my lawn (4A via Woods 72" finisher) I remove the loader to make it easier to go around obstacles, trees etc... Only takes about three minutes to remove and the same to remount.. With a large garden like ours, the JD655 rear tiller is a must.. Same for the snow blower when our driveway can drift in with snow 1-2+ ft deep.. And the JD Quick Hitch makes mounting 3-pt items a snap.. Good video sir..

Omg I have so many attachments lol !! The one I never use is the Rototiller I don’t know why but no one ever hires me to do that . I use a lot the box blade for grading . And of course rightnow living in Southern California is Weed Abatement season . It’s mandatory or be fined it’s to prevent brush fires . So for about the last two Months I’ve been mowing with a brush hog and Discing like crazy every day .. I also do horse arenas with an arena drag made by ABI. I also use a land plane on some jobs I just bought and people love it !!! Grapple is mandatory for debris jobs makes it so easy ! I also have a heavy hitch tooth bar and love it !!! I have a large rake also I don’t use it that much but a few times. Anyways I’m always on the go . I have a 3520 with cab love the AC but Cleaning filters 5-6 times a day Is a pain and adds an hour a day while brush mowing and Discing it’s so dry here and weeds are huge so Always clogging filters , great video !

You CAN do real work with a Quick Hitch. Besides the regular uses where you mount attachments to it, I use mine as a logging arch. I pull the log to the trail with a rope attached to the draw bar. Once the log is "in line" on the trail I lift one end up under the QH, chain it in and pull it to the field where it is cut to 8'-12' lengths. From there I use the pallet forks to carry the logs to the bucking and splitting area up by the house.

I have the 1025r with a backhoe. I've used it 2 times. It's my very experience counterweight. Be it does give that's cool look with the tractor. Just cost alot for that extra look. But definitely worth it.
@kdegraa4 жыл бұрын
Unless you are a plumber or must constantly dig holes it’s probably better to hire a machine to dig holes. Plus I’ve read a rear mounted backhoe raises the centre of gravity for a tractor, thus makes it less stable.

@@kdegraa I deal in removal of rock , trash , trees. I will use it to remove tree stumps when needed. But having the backhoe. I believe its easy to resell with it then without it. Definitely in my location. You can find more 1025r and BX without a backhoes then with a backhoe. Easier to resell if needed.

you have a lot of stuff out there 1 thing I did not see is a flail mower. is there a reason for that?
@JJZBULLITT1094 жыл бұрын
Honestly better off with a bush hog. You can back over a pretty decent sized pile of brush and mulch nicely . Flail is more of a forward directional implement whereas the bh can go forwards or back. Of course if you've got deep enough pockets a hydraulic flail mower on an articulating arm would be nice. Hello long hedge rows! The only drawback with the bush hog is that it eats pto hp so you usually have to size down with smaller machines as opposed to a finish mower which sees little resistance.
@GoodWorksTractors4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, haven't found a reasonably priced option yet. Flails are quite expensive.

I don’t think I could agree anymore with you about the loader quick mount and backhoe. I have a skid steer style quick attach and use my pallet forks all the time because it’s so easy. My backhoe I wish someone would have told me it’s not worth it. I would have been far better off buying a used mini excavator. Or even renting one. My dealer is just inexperienced in the backhoe part so they didn’t know any better either

I bought a ballast box from Titan. I love the box for being able to carry stuff around while I’m working. BE CAREFULL when ordering this I made a huge mistake by not reading the description close enough. They sell a ballast box that IS compatible with a quick hitch and one that ISNT compatible. I have no idea why the would sell both but I can tell you that the one that is not compatible is a complete pain to connect and reconnect. The top link connection is too close to the box so the hook on the quick hitch gets hung up on the box and needs to be disconnected to get it off completely negating the use of the quick hitch. Please take warning!!! There is very little price difference. Again I have no idea why they sell both.
