I’ve read Anna Paquin says she wishes she hadn’t worn that hat, but I love it. She didn’t think she was going to win, so she wore what she wanted to. I think it gives her acceptance speech a touch of class, and innocence. I’m glad she came back to acting as she is such a terrific actor.

I love it too. I mean it really fit for the fashion and style of girls her age at the time. I know because she's only two years older than me so I was rocking similar clothes. I read a while ago that she keeps her Oscar in her closet and when she won the Golden Globe for the first season of True Blood I was like is she going to put it next to her Oscar.

What about Cuba Gooding, Jr's win for Best Supporting Actor for Jerry Maguire, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck winning Best Original Screenplay for Good Will Hunting and Olivia Colman's Best Actress win for The Favourite and how is it that Roberto Benigni's Oscar win is not in the Top 10? I wasn’t even mad that Lily lost. Even though I was rooting for her HARD all awards season I was also rooting for Emma. Even though I thought Lily gave the better performance. Emma’s performance in “Poor Things” reminded me of Charlize Theron in “Monster” (the greatest performance ever.) Lily’s time is coming I don’t think that she’s gonna get nominated for “Fancy Dance” but at least it’s already a critically acclaimed performance after her historic nomination. She’s going in the right direction and she’s being treated like a leading lady as she should be. “The Memory Police” better be her Oscar moment.
@filthybonnet

I think it's a bit of this too. I don't think she was mad that she won after the dirt settled but it was the initial that oh crap I will forever be the white girl that won over the first Native American woman nominated and not only that but it's my 2nd oscar. Like think people wouldn't have been as annoyed if it wasn't her 2nd one.

Three 6 Mafia's Oscar win for Best Original Song back in 2006 is also one of my favourites. The way they jumped around running to the stage after Queen Latifah announced the winner, the Oscars has become the BET Award where the director of the show seemed quickly told the camera crew to shoot all the black people (except George Clooney) at the audience during their speech 😂😂😂

I love that they began showing the nominee "boxes" in 1971 so that their reactions could be captured (for some odd reason they didn't do so in 1981). Though the cameras started panning the nominees (and winner reactions) back in 1960, it would have been fascinating to see their reactions on camera back in the earlier days.

Yes, I was gonna comment that too. That and Jon Voight's eyeroll when he won.

Three 6 Mafia's Oscar win for Best Original Song back in 2006 is also one of my favourites. The way they jumped around running to the stage after Queen Latifah announced the winner, the Oscars has become the BET Award where the director of the show seemed quickly told the camera crew to shoot all the black people (except George Clooney) at the audience during their speech How Roberto Benigni isn't #1 is a complete mystery to me I guess I didn’t think Curtis was really surprised but it was meant to be more comedic way to show her appreciation. She did campaign a lot My favorite Oscar reaction of all time is not from the winner; it's how both Meryl Streep and Chaz Bono react when Cher wins for "Moonstruck." They are both so happy and excited for her. My favorite is Olivia Colman's reaction and that of her colleagues Emma Stone, husband, director, etc. Even though I wanted Close to win, one has to appreciate that wonderful reaction and subsequent speech! Kerry Condon didn't seem very happy either LOL Great top 10 list, Halle Berry's reaction & speech still hit me deeply Though I was hoping to see Michelle Yeoh in here as there was still a 50/50 shot of a win/lose situation so I think there was genuine surprise and happiness for another deserved & historic win. 1. Adrien Brody, 2. Cuba Gooding, Jr. Brian confuses. He drags Jamie Lee Curtis' Oscar win as one of the worst wins ever, but yet here he is praising her speech. Jamie is the reason Michelle Yeoh, the Daniel's, EEAAO won all their awards. She played the game and she won, why is she so vilified? But I love her win and her speech is one of the very best. Eddie redmane was amazing I the theory of everything. He is receiving hate for his tony award performance cause it looked weird Unpopular opinion: Haley Barry deserved her win but her reaction is the worst over the top fake reaction yet. Anna Paquin was cute. But let's be honest, Rosie Perez deserved it. Here are 10 of my favorites that did not make this video. Phyllis Dalton winning Best Costume Design for Henry The 5th Anne Dudley winning Best Comedy Score for The Full Monty Rick Baker and Dave Elsey winning Best Makeup for The Wolfman Joel Hynek, Nicholas Brooks, Stuart Robertson and Kevin Mack winning Best Visual Effects for What Dreams May Come Tan Dun winning for Best Original Score for Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Henry Mancini and Leslie Bricusse winning Best Adaptation Score for Victor/Victoria Ryuichi Sakamoto, David Byrne and Cong Su winning Best Original Score for The Last Emperor Dean Parisot and Steven Wright winning the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film Takashi Yamazaki, Kiyoko Shibuya, Masanori Takahashi and Tatsuji Nojima winning for Best Achievement In Visual Effects for Godzilla Minus One Billy Bob Thornton winning for Best Adapted Screenplay for Sling Blade Honorable Mention: Robert Duvall winning Best Leading Actor for Tender Mercies 25 Celebrities Who Destroyed Their Careers On Talk Shows Hollywood Uncovered Top 10 Greatest Shelley Duvall Performances The Awards Contender Deadpool & Wolverine LEAK EXPLAINED, New Footage & Details Revealed! No one’s Oscar speech has ever been remembered or quoted like Sally Field. Can’t believe she didn’t make this list. You must not “like” her.

Ummm…. How could you not include Olivia Colman for The Favourite? Didn’t everyone think this was finally Glenn Ciose’s year and Colman was the spoiler? Colman ‘s reaction is one of utter shock & surprise.

Roberto Benigni and Olivia Colman should be in the top 10. 2 of the best winning reactions of all time!

Lauren Bacall didn't even try to hide her disapproval of the Academy's choice. It didn't look like disappointment, it looked like disdain to me. 🙂

One of my favorite reactions is also Jamie Lee Curtis but not for her Oscar win, but rather her reaction when Michelle Yeoh won.
