Possible characters I think might stand a chance against meliodas: 1. Mael with his Sunshine power increasing as the goes on 2. Ban, using hunterfest 3. The supreme deity since light is effective against darkness

Ban allready was using his abilitires multiple times to fight meliodas when they had the same power. ban cannot take the powers of his darkness as seen in the battle fest at Vaisel. Mael can;t fight agaisnt half of the DK in meliodas's body while meliodas's emotions alone can tear appart his original body with half of his power in purgatory. And we still don;t know if Mael requires day to use sunshine. maybe ehe can use the full sunshine allways but only at noon can he use "the One". wich even then u have to remember meliodas and mael fought MANY TIMES. even before meliodas became good, we see mael being repeled by meliodas without even using Assault Mode and he;s suprised as fuck. Soo i got to believe after 1k years in purgatory and a cr4p ton of Dk battles. that Mael won;t be a match.

@@lennardnorden Meliodas did use his dark powers at vaisel.... did u EVER watched the ep or read the chapter at that? right after ban saps all the physical powers from meliodas and he's on the ground ban "detroit smash" him and u see ban fly. Then king says he saw it for a sec, meliodas grabbed ban's hand and struck him(with the mark on his forehead). What speculations did i make? Mael is stronger then the DK i guess right.... i mean it sure makes sense.... the Dk and SD gifted HALF of their power as respective powers of 10 commandments and 4 graces... thus by logic and math a PART of that HALF is definetly stronger then a full half + all the power meliodas's body had.... I mean i definetly cannot ever see any point that is not completly right.... We hardly saw him try? ALL 7 SINS + mael and Ludoshel attacked DK.... they were easily blocked by him and then instantly trown away like cr4p.... then both mael and his brother barelly resist some attacks from a SPAWNED CREATURE from the DK.... Where is your logic.... he get's slapped away like a fly... barelly survives a minion's attack... yeah definetly mael is stronger.... If light is that much more effective against darkness.... why is SD allways mentioned as EQUAL to DK... why is Mael, in the past... with Sunshine... in the celestial realm... easily repeled by meliodas... with mael being shocked at seeying his light being defeated by a non assault mode meliodas.... Hunter fest steals power from surrounding. People allready speculate meliodas will have the same "RULER" as DK(i do not believe in that) but if it was the case hunterfest would be the most idiotic move. Even without it ban can only steal meliodas's normal physical powers as we se in Vaisel... again.... watch anime or read manga.... giant black mark on meliodas(after ban takes all his strenght) and ban goes flying with 6-7 holes in him.... Besides that meliodas can literally just do the same as he did with DK in his mind. millions of darkness condensed balls ... The only one really up for the fight is SD. And as for darkness against light.... literally allways... please just try and find an example where two powers that oppose each other are never allways stronger at combating each other. light damages dark and dark damages light. As for a proof. mael with the 4 commandments... literally destroying his body from inside... why? "He;s still a goddess, the commandments are a total opposite to him" .... Anything else?

But what I am saying is: characters that MIGHT stand a chance against meliodas, not characters that beat him. As for hunter fest, stealing meliodas his fysical strength still is a strong option since meli has a lot of it. Most godesses use Ark against demons because it's a very strong move against them. And as for mael fighting the dk, we have only seen a few scenes of him actually trying to fight. Mael and the others may had trouble at first against the dk miniouns, but one got defeated by Zeldoris. Before that, Zeldoris got beaten by Mael. That's why I say speculate, because it's hard to jump to conclusions right away and a lot of stuff we just haven't seen happening. And I don't know if thought so, but I am not trying to attack you.

Yes the nuclear bomb minion got instakill. but zeldoris only won against that 2nd minion czu of his special ability. most likely mael would be able to do the same, but still at a hard pace not something easy. We allready seen enough of their power to see that mael would not stant a single chance against DK. It's like saying Twigo stood a chance against meliodas, czu we only see 2 attacks. Or that idiot at the start of 2nd season that "wants to see their strenght" when they get the medals... we only see a glimpse of them fighting but meliodas easily dispaches him. Same for DK. Even tho Mael is INSANELY broken. u have to remember that even ban. wich is clearly a monster right now instantly started to lose the seccond meliodas in his mind stopped fighting.... And sure. ark is a strong tehnique, especially against demons. soo are meliodas;s hellblaze and the ability to permanently damage even immortals like ban.... they fought the dk like 60 times if i remember right. plus purgatory... and all that. Ban has not a single mark. Meliodas, with his powers stolen(the 3.370) damaged ban soo bad that he never regenerated. How good is ark compared to attacks that permanently destroy the body.And u have to remember that ban is in a way. fighting meliodas too. since is his body. his physical power(i honestly think meliodas is a better fighter, meaning as his tehnique for fighting then the DK who moslty seems to just punch you or attack with the sword or in the case of meliodas's body the demonic claws on his back).

I think Elizabeth should be at top! Along meliodas. In a manga episode, when mael was crushing gowther, he said that to balance the imbalance of powers of the clans when meliodas leaves the demons, Elizabeth was another option in place of mael

he said elizabeth and his brother. wich his brother would be useless against meliodas. he was too afraid to attack meliodas when he had 2 other archangels and meliodas was defending elizabeth wich was trying to cancel out indura transformations on derieri anad monspiet. Elizabeth is strong, but if u look she;s not really a ighter she;s what u might call a Cleric or Priest. INSANELY strong magic abilitites but she is disgusted in fighting. She literally stopped two indura while only one of them(not even fully transformed) was beating 3 archangels. When meliodas was protecting them Ludoshel wanted to bring reinforcements XD wich was Mael. And i think back then elizabeth might have been close to meliodas. but also remember that Mael was singled out as THE MOST POWERFULL MEMBER OF THE GODDESS CLAN expect for SD. I mean why would he be He is the Solo Ultimate existence across Heaven and earth and demon clan meliodas normal form can't even beat maels poop so its just a plot hole...a big mistake in this Geniusly written manga to make meliodas look equal stronger than Mael when is reality Mael is the Third God after SD and DK....Mael is several levels above meliodas full power and when face ing The one there is no chance off surviving no chance....the whole manga is the proof.....Ludaciel take on meliodas full power anytime and even Elizabeth is As strong as if not stronger then meliodas magically

Meliodas fought against Mael in the extra chapter... it completly reppeled maels light... in the celestial realm... non stop day... maybe even counting as a full NOON(its just a possibility even tho i don;t need that to have my arguement... unlike you and most mael babyboys) without even being in assault mode... and mael is: Darkness that can dispell my light? how is this possible!... I am also sure u will go the very sad and obvious way of mentioning meliodas vs escanor. Meliodas was stated to be 142k right then correct? well then, if he was at full power, and not just starting to regain it(Merlin: meliodas's miasma of darkness grows) then why two 200k+ individuals(one of wich was your divine god itself) and a 173k get beaten to a bloody pulp and with soo much ease that meliodas doesn;t even have to move... Your hole poin was to come here.. and brag how Mael is divine.. ultiamte invincible power. he is not able to feel fear thus he's not afraid and is just a plothole....
