Before I even watch... predictions. I'd say #3 is Rune crossbow. Its price, usefulness, and versatility for pking, low level slayer, or a budget PvM option make it so good. Every account, at least at some point, will have had one and used it as their best ranged weapon. Second is T-bow, because its broken as hell, but not number one because of its accessibility, and #1 is easily blowpipe. It's dps in unmatched, its relatively cheap, useful literally everywhere, and generally known to be the best ranged weapon in the game.

@@monarkev Much more niche for bosses with high int. Blowpipe-rigour is the go to for almost any boss/mob in the game just because of its attack speed. Also much more affordable

Even though tbow can be situational, in terms of money making potential it far exceeds the blowpipe. And all the best gp/hr bosses are made better by twisted bow. (Taking raids, zulrah, hydra, as examples here.) For me this makes the twisted bow better. And once you get a twisted bow, most of the content you end up doing centers around it and the blowpipe loses that "general use" edge, and becomes a niche spec weapon. I think it might depend on where your at in the game, but once you hit endgame, twisted is far superior in my opinion.

Magic Shortbow deserves to be on this list. It's a free-to-play bow with a special attack that shoots double-arrows. MSB is the FTP DDS.

Hell yea got it right. Tbow isnt BIS at a looot of pvm situations. Not to mention it can be pretty in accurate at times. I think a lot of people have just built up a false assumption that you can just 1 shot everything with it. Anyway great video as always

Faab my comment is definitely old, but that method you just said + elite void and an assembler is what I used mostly to get 99 ranged - super cost effective. Karils is quite expensive for sure

I think the normal dragon crossbow should be pretty high up. It's a massive upgrade from the rune crossbow and the armadyl crossbow is only slightly better than it, even though it costs over 10 times as much.

i have never used a arma crossbow, there is almost no place where it is best in slot, i'd rather have a dhcb than the acb. i would replace that with 3rd age bow or just darts

Twisted Bow is #1. Blowpipe is #2. Twisted Bow is arguebly the best weapon in the game not just the ranged category. Blowpipe is a secondary option compared to Twisted Bow imo for high end PvM content. The flaws of the Blowpipe is the short range on Rapid, and that is actually really deadly on some PvM encounters where you can get 1 or 2 shot in close range and completely disrupts your entire flow while at it. Both weapons are phemonal but wich one does it better for the purpose its created? The Twisted Bow.

Thanks for watching! You no longer have to imbue it from the NMZ to have it keep it's stats through every degradation level. It always keeps the same stats now. But now you can also recharge it with crystals if you don't want to pay the elf I think

Id say that they need to make the wilderness weapons better or nerf the blowpipe... you risk a minimum of 200k in ether to kill things and have a target on your back but a blow piper can run around with dragon darts and full on scales and not loose any of it on death. Seems flawed to me.

Side note on cannons(I know you know this Andrew): You can leave them on the floor anywhere and reclaim them for free from the dwarf called Nulodian south of Ice Mountain. So if you have a cannon in your inventory and you start getting PKd make sure to set up your cannon and you wont lose it :)

Blowpipe is fine its a perfect rebuild weapon its not the best in slot for every situation like dhcb for dragons and so like tbow for high mage monsters and so on its an alternative to those weapons i mean if we now take away the blowpipe then the whole economy will crash in osrs if blowpipe will become shit people will stop doing zulrah because no one buys the blowpipe anymore no one buys scales or well at least a good 70% of people will stop buying scales i couldnt imagine gwd solo without the blowpipe for the minions its gna take ages to kill the minions you wont have time to use btp and pray at the altar and shit its just gna be a duo thing nah blowpipe is here for so long that it has to stay how it is its just a solid pvm weapon its not like all of the sudden people pk with it and rape everyone for millions of gp

You failed to mention the magic short bow (i). It's better than a few of the weapons you mentioned on the list. Also you should've mentioned the crystal Armour alongside the crystal bow. Other honorable mentions rune cross bow and dragon crossbow for price. Dragon throwing axes for speed.. 3rd age bow with dragon arrows...
