The Director/Real Church's final scene made me cry. Like you said, people sympathized with him. I honestly felt his despair at never seeing his wife and only love again. Honestly, the Director is one of the best written characters in the entire series.

When I was rewatching Red Vs. Blue and rewatched season 10 recently (last time I saw the whole thing was in 2012) It reaffirmed why I felt it should've ended there. The Chorus trilogy was great and the anthology season would've been fine, but Season 10 was the culmination of everything that started back in season 1. Answered many questions, had great action, and had some of the most emotional scenes out of the whole series, especially the final director scene, which yeah even I teared up at when I watched it again.

I remember watching the first episode of RvB when it debuted (or between 2006-08ish when I was in middle school). AT THE TIME I thought 'seriously?' and never bothered following up on RvB. it was only in 2014 when my Xbox 360 got sent back for repair that I missed playing Halo. so my next thing I did was watch Netflix. and at the top of Recommended List was Red vs Blue. I groaned, but seeing as it's the closest thing to Halo on Netflix, I found the entire Blood Gulch Chronicles (aka Seasons 1-5), and I started watching Season 1 (this time in full). Never before had I watched a show that made me cried from laughing so hard. and I practically had a RvB marathon of the BGC and I swear it was hilarious and emotional. and when Netflix had all the other seasons up there (prior to Season 13), I was ecstatic about watching these idiots going beyond Blood Gulch and meeting new characters and more storylines. heck Season 6 Ep.16 really changed my view of the show (as did everyone else for the most part). Long story short (too late) RvB has become a staple for me in terms of comedy, machinima, action, and character development. what a great show!!

Church's goodbye speech at the end of "The End" always gets me. I don't think I can watch that full scene and not tear up some. It was just such a deep and surreal moment. When you realize "Oh shit, he might not come back from this"...it really got to you.

The Reconstruction Finale is honestly incredibly underappreciated, it's probably my favorite finale of any series (Season 13's ending is a class of its own) and it was so well-done. From the expectation subversion of Church staying with Wash, to the Director's betrayal of Wash, and the Director's name reveal at the end that made everything make so much more sense.

I would of made this a Top 12, because Great Destroyers and Beginning of the End are also REALLY good, we see Freelancers Vs Felix and Locus, we get some GREAT character development for Locus, we see the shit get beat out of Felix (which is always good) and we see the Reds and Blues do what they do best, work together to take down someone WAY beyond their skill level. Also Wash is badass in great destroyers and any episode with that is just awesome.

The way "Upon further review" switched, it was so unexpected yet so fitting. The way sarge yells "Shotgun!" so many times makes you wait in anticipation, and to just see a fucking warthog drive through a wall and nearly kill Washington, someone you now dislike for switching to the Meta's side, they would never have been able to do in your mind, was amazing.

I watched Sarcophagus so many times that I noticed a couple of little errors: 1. Carolina's hand having a seizure when she talks on the radio. 2. Washington's gun gets mixed with another before Carolina throws Maine out of a window. 3. Choppy animation when Tex jumps out of the pelican.

My favorite episode was probably season 3 episode 1 "The Best Laid Plans". It had some of the funniest and most memorable dialogue as well as having the reds and blues work together which was completely new at the time and seeing Sarge and Caboose work together was really funny as their attitudes clash so much. Not to mention the red and blue soldiers acting like your basic online noobs made an excellent episode.

What were the funniests moments in your opinion? For me it was the 'but why snowman', I hate babies, & whenever the reds had their theme song playing in the warthog. For the first, seeing Tex kick everyone's asses was awesome and funny. For the second, it was a breath of fresh air to see that our favorite idiots haven't changed a bit, and seeing Carolina finally succumb to the insanity was gold.

One of my favourite parts is when Sarge says in a previous episode "Why in hell would you give CPR to someone with a bullet wound in their head?" then later goes on to say "What would you do if someone shot in me in the toe, rub my neck with aloe vera?" Then like the next couple of episodes later Church shoots caboose in the foot and doc rubs his neck with aloe vera. Damn I love those parts in rvb.

Honestly i have a hard time figuring out which of the two endings i love more, 'I Don't say it' or "The End" because both bring the stories of these characters and their respective arcs (The freelancer and chorus arcs) to a close. I Don't say it sort of lacked the punch of the other reds and blues getting any sort of closure that The End lacks. It's a good well written end to the freelancer story, for carolina, church, and the director, as well as all those who died during and after project freelancer. But there's no real closure for the reds or blues. The End on the other hand is very much The End of the reds and blues story.. as they all gear up we see so much of their character growth bounce off eachother. Grif and sarge's banter, when Grif reclaims the 'Grif Shot' the banter between simmons and sarge as well as the joking bits between donut and lopez. This was their growth and journey brought together. The 13 year journey of at 6 idiots on either side of a canyon doing the bare minimum of work. To a group of 9 friend unified in and by their crazy adventures going into what could potentially be their last stand with everything they had. Tuckers roar from lazy ladies man to actual elite soldier completed when he put on Maines heavily upgraded armor. AND THEN... 2-4-1-10 and they rip you're god damn guts out. Reminding you that for all the times church has 'died' only once has he properly died. That was the Alpha, and this is epsilon, a memory, an echo. Something that can't survive what the Alpha did, but knows that noone will survive if he doesn't.

My favourite episode by far is Spiral - the action in it is spot on and the music is gorgeous. It gave us that epic version of what I dub ‘Carolina’s Theme’; you could feel the intensity of it when she reveals her Speed Boost in order to defeat Tex. She smashes through glass, slides under a truck and eventually gets the briefcase. But seconds before, Tex grabs the case first. Carolina went full berserker mode and still lost.

But I have to say as a story arc I like the Chouros-arc the best.
